My co-worker and her boyfriend both work for our company. Her boyfriend drops by numerous times throughout the day and they talk loudly back and forth about their plans for the evening etc. If she is facing her computer he stomps his foot, which shakes my desk to get her attention. It’s at it worse if they have had an argument the night before or something. I mean, they live together, work together, eat lunch together, and have the same friends. Give each other some breathing room!

I really hate when I can hear someone clipping their nails at work with those metal nail clipper things.  It makes my skin crawl!

People effing taking food, along with the expensive tupperware it was in, that doesn’t belong to them!  Who does that?!  It’s gross!

I used to share an office with a guy who would congratulate himself for various things all day, like, “woo hoo – I am AWESOME!'” “I am on FIRE today – YESSSS!” Hahaha, it was very annoying and would totally startle me out of whatever I was doing.

Also, food thieves!

@basketballwifetobe: Haha, it was wild.  I laughed at the beginning but it got old really fast! Especially if I was having a less than awesome day, haha.

I have caught my boss clipping his – get this – TOE NAILS – in his office.  His door was closed, and I politely knocked.  He didn’t even hesitate and told me to come in!!  It was DISGUSTING!!  I also have a gentleman whose office is right next to mine who has horrible phlegm issues.  He is always sucking it up is nose and then clearing his throat, over and over and over and over.  I have to ask – if he is not spitting a loogey – where is all that phelgm going???

Oh and I also hate being patronized and told I’m doing a GREAT job when I do something little like – fill the soap dispenser.

If I am on the phone its not a good idea to ask me to make copies for you. Nor is it an invitation to wait by my desk and stare at me until I get off the phone.

Coworkers who loudly talk about everything going on in their home lives all day… There’s one in particular who just sits in her cube and talks constantly about every trivial thing that she can think of.  She’s on an earlier schedule than some of us, and one day when she had to stay late, she was (again) loudly talking about “WOW it’s so different I’m staying with the late crowd! OMG! What’s it like in here after I leave every day?!?” and the woman in the cube next to me says under her breath, “Quiet?”

There is a new girl in my office who ‘hovers’ in the bathroom and pees all over the seat and doesn’t clean it up. I know it’s her because I’ve seen her exiting the stall a few times now before discovering this mess. And pee all over the seats was never an issue until after I started seeing her in the office. This is really gross and very disrespectful to everyone else who has to use those bathrooms all day.

I face the windows in my cube, so my back is to the entrance of my cube and I hate it when people creep up behind me and look at my computer screen. Then they start talking, scare the $hit out of me and continue to stare at my screen instead of look at me.

Food thieves make me SO MAD! Lunch is my favorite part of the day, you had BETTER not be stealing it!! Don’t they find it gross, eating someone’s random leftovers?!

My officemate likes it to be about 62 degrees alllll the time (even in winter). Meanwhile I could work happily in a sweat lodge. Once she had the A/C on…when it was snowing. I told her I was turning on the heat because my hands had turned blue.

@moderndaisy: My Fiance makes fun of me cause I got a little desk mirror for this very reason. It’s so awkward to have someone come up while I’m typing away on WB….
