My Fi went in the first week of September and it rained everyday. Mind you he travelled for work and had no choice.

The rainy season in Thailand is from May to October.  I’ve been there a few times in August/September and no, it doesn’t rain all day, but it’s gross and humid.  I’d never go there on vacation if I could help it (I go for business and have no choice).

Hey I went to Thailand for 3 weeks last summer (July) I found the weather lovely, not too humid or hot and it didn’t rain that much either. roam from Scotland as well so I’m NOT used to hot weather!

I loved going to Thailand but not durring the rainy season. I rather prefer going to Cambodia actually alot more things to do and see.

We got married in July and decided to wait and do our Thailand honeymoon in Dec/Jan for better weather!

I’ve been to Thailand in August and had wonderful weather. The worst monsoon rain I’ve ever experienced was in Decmeber. Whilst the seasons are general, they aren’t foolproof.

My brother went there this past July for 2 wks. I don’t remember him saying it was horribly rainy.

@jaball: I went there for a month in June and it was AWESOME!!!  Perfect weather (and everything else).  But not sure about late July / August…

I wasn’t there for a honeymoon, though I did run into some honeymooners. I went in late July – early October for 3 weeks. It was VERY humid, and it did rain most afternoons and for a couple days straight. However, I still had an awesome time 🙂
