Yesssss! I am so happy you said ethical stuff! You should go to the Elephant Nature Park outside of Chang Mai. It’s a nonprofit elephant rescue place and is so so wonderful. They pick you up and transport you there, and you stay all day observing, feeding, bathing, etc this herd of rescued elephants. It’s so super cool and a great cause.

I’d basically stay away from all “regular” elephant, tiger, etc activities – it just perpetuates the illegal / immoral wildlife trade. Have fun! 🙂

Baimee:  Not sure on any other options, sorry  :/  One other recommendation, the small town of Pai (north of Chang Mai) is totally charming and awesome.  Kind of bohemian, beautiful countryside that you can explore by motorbike, ridiculously good food.  Aah I’m so jealous!!  Would love to go back there.
