I have been using the diamond dazzle stick to clean my ring and decided to try the dawn soap method (soak in very warm water with a few drops of soap for 20-40 minutes, scrub with soft toothbrush, repeat, rinse and dry with a microfiber towel) and GOODNESS GRACIOUS! I was thinking my diamond just wasn’t very sparkly. I read that they were grease magnets but I really had no idea! For those of you who do this, how many times a week? Thanks, bees!

I do a quick scrub every AM when I put it on. I dont soak it in dawn, just throw a drop onto the toothbrush, scrub, rinse, dry, good to go.

I do it once a week, or if I get something on it I will do a quick clean like PP mentioned

So would you say the diamond dazzle stik is no good?

It’s definitely good for on the go like it you get lotion on it etc, but I think the soaking method is really great to get built up grime

I clean my rings daily. The bacteria they collect is astonishing.

Daily. I soak my rings in hot soapy water (Dawn) while I’m getting ready. This also helps keep me from getting lotion, hair product, etc on my rings.
And about once a week I do a longe soak in hot soapy water.

I do it weekly, but I only wear my rings outside of the home.

I’ve been using Dawn for years and up bothering the solutions the jewelers sell.

I haven’t been wearing my rings much due to the pandemic so they don’t need much cleaning. Before that, I used to clean my rings once a week. I like to ramp things up a bit and add a few drops of Windex to the Dawn mixture. And I’ve always carried alcohol wipes for on-the-go cleanings.

As a couple other PPs, i clean them daily to remove bacteria, grime (hand sanitizer, soap, lotion). I usually let them soak either during my morning or evening routine.

I’m still working from home so my ring doesn’t get very dirty. (And I’ve only been wearing my plain solitaire, not my pave wedding band, so there aren’t a ton of little nooks and crannies to deal with.) I hardly ever deep clean it — just whenever I notice it’s looking less sparkly (which is probably once every couple of weeks). Definitely don’t have time to do it daily.
But I do give it a quick little scrubdown after I wrap up washing dishes everyday. It stays on my finger and I just rub some Dawn all over it and rinse off with warm water.

A toothbrush doesn’t reach under the stone, so I also use a small interdental brush for (carefully) cleaning the bottom of the stone. I like the diamond dazzle stick for quick, daily cleanings.

I do a quick cleaning of my rings everyday with dawn and a toothbrush and soak weekly for 15 minutes.
