I’m not a fan TBH.  When people send photos in their Christmas cards, I keep them on the fridge for a few weeks, then recycle them.  I haven’t had an actual photo album in a decade, they’re all saved on my computer, and I’d have to be really, really close to someone to have a framed wedding photo of them in my house.

I think it’s a cute idea.  It allows the picture to be transformed into a frame, album, etc for those who would want it.  Don’t expect everyone to keep it – though – but I think it’s a good idea.  btw, would you consider a 4 x 6 picture?  I think those smaller ones are too tiny!

I think that’s a great idea!  For the exact reasons you said; an actual photo rather than a photo printed on a card would be great for people to frame.

That’s the way that people used to do it around here before online printing made the photocards an option.

@joymarie83:  In that case then yes, it’s a good idea.  You’ll save a lot of money too if you just buy standard blank thank you cards and have the photos printed locally.

I was thinking I would do the thank-you postcard/cards with photo printed on it… but i like this idea better:) we had magnet STD so sent an engagement picture along with it 🙂 our wedding is also smaller (family and few friends) .. got a positive response from the pics with the magnets so why not 🙂
