Question on when to send you thank you cards for people who will attend but already sent their gifts – do I mail out thank you notes now? or after the wedding? I want to thank them for the gift as well as them taking the time to come. But I also don’t want to deal with writing a baggilion cards after the wedding.
Alternatively – did anyone pre-write the card assuming the guests came to the wedding?

You are definately supposed to send the card when the gift arrives; that also saves your guests worrying that the gift didn’t make it for some reason.
Prewriting the cards thanking people for coming is a great idea! Then you just have to make sure you only send out cards to those who do show up. Maybe if you write those cards upon receiving the RSVP – that way you don’t write cards saying how great it was to see them at the wedding for people who RSVP with regrets.
