I think you should just send the thank you cards as you receive and open the gifts.  That way the people who gave them to you know they got there OK, and you won’t forget to write them later.

We are sending thank you cards as we receive gifts. Not only does it let the person know you received it, but then it’s out of the way for you! The more you can get done beforehand the less you have to do later!!

If it were closer to your wedding, I’d say you could do them all at once. But I’d start sending now so the gift giver doesn’t worry about whether you received it!

Too funny. My shower is Aug 29th and we are getting married Oct 1st too! I agree with others, I have been sending ‘Thank You’ cards as we have been receiving gifts. For one, lets them know we received, and 2nd, then we don’t forget to send later!
