I’ve begun to make a habit of sending a Thank You out within 3 days of receiving the gift. If you send a note out now you don’t need to worry about writing many at once.

I suggest writing the thank yous as soon as you can after receiving any sort of gift. I waited till after my wedding to write ALL of mine and it took forever! Plus, people will appreciate your quick response and will be glad to know you received their gift.

Wait. I am confused! I thought thank you cards come after the wedding?!

Or is this completely seperate from the "thank you for coming to my wedding card"?

Is this a "thank you for the gift card"? Oy. I’m not good at this.

Thanks!

The main thing is to make sure that shower gift thank you notes go out before the wedding. I’m going to try to get the wedding gift thank you notes out as I receive them, but as long as they’re out within a couple of months of the wedding you’re good. I’m not familiar with sending "thank you for coming to the wedding" notes – we’ll give a brief thank you speech and favors at the wedding to cover that.
