Did she say why the package was returned?  Maybe whatever she did wrong the first time she can correct and try to ship one last time?  And ask her to PLEASE pay the extra dollar for tracking!

I don’t understand why they wouldn’t get across! Did she fill out the customs form indicating that it was a sale/product? And maybe customs is wanting someone to pay an import tax?

This sounds kind of fishy. Maybe it’s just because I’m always skeptical of people. I just really hope that she didn’t just not make them in the first place and is making this all up. It’s odd that she won’t ever provide you with a tracking number. Does she have good feedback?

I’m sorry you’re going to have to settle for less than what you wanted but it is becoming a matter of time. That really stinks πŸ™

I think I remember your initial post about this. She is a new seller, right? Honestly, she doesn’t know what she’s doing yet, and if I were you at this point, I’d stop being the guinea pig and ask for your money back. Try to find a local letterpress in your area and get it done somewhere else. I’m sorry you’re having to switch gears so late in your planning. πŸ™

Sorry, Bakerella. πŸ™ That really sucks.  I know with the WB card swaps, I couldn’t use the automated 24 hour machines at our post office to ship packages to Canada and Austrailia.  I had to wait until the post office was open, wait in line and get the customs form and postage from them before I could ship it. (Speaking of which, did you get my WB V-day swap package yet? I hope it doesn’t get lost too. Hmmm…)

I don’t know what is going on with your seller.  Is she a younger seller?  Maybe that’s why she had to use her mom’s address. Maybe her mom was the one who actually shipped it, maybe that’s why she couldn’t get a tracking number because her mom did it.  I don’t know, this is all speculation.

Hobby lobby has a new letterpress machine that I really want and it was only 70. You might look it up online, maybe you can just buy your own letterpress.

At this point, I’d say get your money back, purchase some decent thank you cards from a store, and just get them done.  A thank you note is something that people read, smile, and then toss.  Not worth the money OR the trouble!  And make her pay you through Paypal!  So sorry this happened to you.  πŸ™

If you can’t find it PM me and I will go take a pic of it and get the information on it.  I have been drooling over it for months.
