at my work, the group/department has receievd one big card as a thank you to all who contributed to it… probably not the best etiquette-wise, but i never had issues with it or even though about it until now!

Definitely treat the men who chipped in on the gift the same as the women.

Just think how you would feel if you contributed to someone’s gift and were the only one not to receive a thank-you note.
