Hello! I am just starting to dive into my thank you cards after our wedding and at a loss as what to write!
I know basically what to write, but my husband and I have put all of our money into savings to save…basically, we’re not sure exactly WHAT we’re saving for. We already have a house, and we don’t need anything at the moment. So what do I write in a thank you card as to what we’re using the money for??!
I came up with “we have placed your gift in a special account until we decide the best way to use it!” but that sounds…well, cheap and ungrateful of us.
I thought about also saying “we are hoping to save for a bigger house someday” …which might be true, but not anyday soon. We are fine with where we live and “bigger” seems snotty as well.
I know I might be overanalyzing but thank you cards are REALLY important to me..and its really important that I convey just how thankful I am to my friends and family. I don’t want to mess this up!
Please help with wording ideas!!
