Thank you bees for helping me with our long engagement. I received so much help along the way–ya’ll are great. The support for unique ideas and diy crafting was tremendous. You guys were also right about something: when people start thinking your ideas are strange and won’t work…just go with your gut because it’ll work out in the end and YOU will love it..and surprisingly, so will everyone else!
love and best wishes,
a new Mrs.
All images copyright Nicole Welch Photography. The photos below are just our sneak peek, I don’t have the full details yet 🙂
P.S. maybe when I get a chance I’ll post some from our day-after stylized session! Our photographer for those rocked it out as well! (think water, green, woodland, vintage)
DIY–one for each girl (bridesmaids and groomswomen)–all of the necklaces were a bit different
You can buy these on etsy but I DIYed them
we met in an airport boarding line and my hubs proposed in the same spot where we met and while we didn’t have an airplane themed wedding….we through some paper airplanes in there for guests to throw instead of bubbles or rice.
DIY programs too
one small part of the DIY buffet I created the morning of 🙂 my mom baked the pie and a tart

I love everything and I’m on a mission to make a Mr. and Mrs. sign like yours — genius way to display it. I’ve been trying to think of how to do it. If I could hug you I would. LOL

OMG we got a few more pics! (it seems there are a good chunk of details missing from our pro-pics but I can load the ones i took with my phone the morning of….lol)
—dress is from David’s (i know i know)it’s one of the older ones but is still pretty common in stores but the price is always dropping, which is good but probably means its leaving soon (T961 i think?)
— the gift boxes for the girls—you can buy them (and card boxes similar to mine) at Nana Montana on etsy..i just diy’ed mine but it took FOREVER!
–the crown is from AmoreBride on etsy
–shoes are DSW, Kelly & Katie Lightsout Slingback pump
— the mr & mrs sign is a hunk of wood (a plaque I think?) from michaels, easel is from there too…it was on sale. now it’s in our living room 😉
— favors are from etsy too (the bags and the seed bombs)
—cake topper is from etsy, April Hiler Designs. it usually has mushrooms or grapes on it but we had her put blackberries to keep with our woodland theme
to future brides:
to be honest I was a little nervous about how I’d feel once it was all over, I mean…I spent so much time and effort in planning and crafting…I was beyond stressed and I was a little worried when it was all over I’d be sad or that I’d feel a void, you know? but I’m completely settled–I’m a little sad it went by in such a blur (like everyone says) but it is SO great to have it DONE–and now the hubs and I can just live and relax again!!! Again, if you have ideas that are a little unconventional…just go with it 🙂
