- Wedding: July 2013
Ok, need some advice – I am an event planner and I have the absolute BEST clients/members of one of my associations I play for. So much so that they’re starting to send wedding cards to the office to wish my fiance and I well for our wedding. Some of these cards have checks in them, which is beyond gracious. I’m usually pretty good at writing thank yous, and actually enjoy doing so, but stumbling on my words when it comes to thanking people I work for/with, but don’t actually work in my office, nor do I see them more than twice a year. The checks are not large amounts, so pinning them to a specific item is proving difficult (i.e. this will help us get xyz from our registry or help us purchase xyz). How do I truly express my gratitude in words for this? They are truly some of the nicest most thoughtful people ever and saying “thank you for your generosity” just isn’t enough.
