Many people do not like the newer trend of sending generic picture thankyous instead of an actuall thank you.

@mayflowerbride13:  That would totally bug me too. I spent $200 on a REALLY nice wedding gift off my coworker’s registry, because she and I were carpooling to work every day at the time she got married, and I never got a thank you card. I was really bummed. I think they’re basic etiquette, and it always makes my day to get a sweet hand-written thank you card from a friend.
