@crr219191:  can someone help you snoop? For example, whoever is close with this person (like Mom, Maid/Matron of Honor, sibling, etc) could call them and chat about how nice the shower was, how great their gift was, how nice it was to see them – and hope she mentions getting the thank you? Otherwise I would just send another one and forget about it.  Better to have 2 than 0!

@crr219191: I think lying in this situation is perfectly acceptable.

Write another one, put a little note in the bottom (or slip in a little note) that one card came back from the post office mangled and it looked like it was the one sent to her and you just really wanted to make sure you thanked her for such a wonderful gift and for coming.

Can you tell I’ve done this before? Although, once it really did happen to me.  I got a card back shredded in a sealed baggy from the post office.  I spent days piecing it together to figure out what/who it was to.

Or, the snoop idea.
