(Closed) Thank-yous for guests who didn;t bring a gift or card

I think there’s nothing wrong and a lot right about sending a thank-you card to a guest who attended without bringing a gift/card under certain conditions:

1) first and foremost, you are genuinely and sincerely thankful that they came (and not prodding them to send a gift)

2) you can thank them specifically for something they did to contribute to the wedding (helping decorate, singing in the choir, help with something logistical, etc.)

3) you can thank them for going the extra mile to be at the wedding (i.e. it involved traveling a long way, you know that they missed out on doing something else to be there, etc.)
