wow… just wow.
wow… just wow.
You are beautiful!
@Pokemon: I’m sorry you had to encounter that after all the work you’ve been doing to take good care of yourself. It is as though she had a predetermined goal of saying that to someone that day and you happened to be the first person she found. Completely unfounded, completely rude, and completely all about her. Let her comments fall to the floor where they belong and focus on the true facts of your progress.
OMG, that’s horrible!! Keep your chin up, ignorance is everywhere!!
You know I actually did this one time. I went to school with a girl who was always a snob. Years later I ran into her at a store. I was trying to be nice since she lost her family. We had been majorettes together in high school. We werent friends because she always thought she was better than me.
So here I am trying to be nice and she turns around and looks at me and says “Who are you and why are you talking to me?” She actually knew who I was and she was just being rude.
Also she had gained a lot of weight. Gone was the majorette and here was Honey Boo Boo’s momma in front of me. So after trying to be nice and inquire about how she was I got really ticked off.
I looked right at her and said, Wow I didnt know you were pregnant, when are you due?
Her mouth fell open and she said Im not pregnant. I was like oops sorry it looked like you were and walked off.
I couldnt help it…she was being a snotty b****
You are kidding right? You have to be joking. WTH is wrong with people?
“You used to be fat? Really… Because I used to be a impolite bitch, but I’m sure you’ll get through that sooner or later.”
@Pokemon: this lady is a clown! seriously! ugh. dont let her get to you, she is a complete JA.
I used to work retail and was asked if I was pregnant once and had the same response as you. she tried to cover it up and said she thought I was someone else. LOL If she would have said what your “friend’ said I would have gotten fired, lets leave it at that….
I worked at Motherhood Maternity for years and years. We had a very strict dress code, white, black, or khaki. I usually stuck to all black. People asked me ALL the time, “How far along are you?” Um, 27 months? Because obviously you’re calling me fat. I LOVED saying super deadpan, “I’m not, I’m just fat.” And going about my business. Am I supposed to be pregnant to work here? Um….no. People just have no tact.
So, so rude.
I had a distant family “friend” get on my bad side when announcing my engagement..
She said something like “hurry before the kid is born!”
I was livid.
