That’s sound like a good idea to me. Hang it there, no matter what you decide, things have a way of working out 😉

Congrats on both of you getting jobs! Honestly, while commuting isn’t the most fun you’ll ever have, it’s not the worst either. Mr. LK and I work in different cities, and we live in a middle area. My commute is 45 minutes each way and his is 1.5 hours each way. It sucks for him in particular, but it’s liveable.

@jpalm13:  Oh gosh. Do your best to stick it out. You have a plan in mind. If they want him badly enough they’ll give him what he needs to go to and fro. Commuting blows but perhaps you can both make the most of the time in different ways, and find a place to live in between your job locations. Congratulations on your new jobs and hang in there!

I’ve done the 1+ hour commutes. They aren’t fun at all. But if you can swing it for just a little while, maybe it won’t be so bad.

@jpalm13: I feel you on the truck thing. Mr. LK burns E85 in his truck and gets 14-15 miles per gallon. It sucks.
