I actually called my veil designer immediately after seeing Kate’s veil. I never thought I would like a blusher- but with the silk tulle, I think it just looks amazing.

So now I am getting an elbow length blusher!

I’ve been planning to wear a drop veil from the start! It was the ONE wedding decision I was 100% sure about!

I already bought a blusher, not because of Kate. Because I want the traditional look of walking down the aisle with the face covered.  Most people I know had blushers too, it must be more common in my area, because on weddingbee not many people have worn blushers

@tntrav44: Honestly I have made all my decisions extremely efficiently and easily…EXCEPT for the veil. I’ve been a silly basketcase over the freakin veil…

But seeing Kate’s really showed me exactly what I wanted. The nylon tulle is really popular in the States, and I know the body is really nice, but I am all about the soft silk now!

Funnily enough, my veil that I already bought is exactly the same style as Kate: silk tulle, “circle” type veil (but without the lace edging, mine has pearls and crystals scattered near edge instead), and I hadn’t decided whether I was going to put it forward as a blusher for the ceremony or not.

Now that I saw Kate wearing my type of veil as the blusher for walking down the aisle, I am thinking I may do that as well because it looked so romantic! Lucky for me I already bought a veil I can do that with do I don’t have to buy another!

Veil, but no blusher for me.  Fiance doesn’t like them and I couldn’t see myself with one .. I wasn’t even going to wear a veil til I tried one on that I fell in love with! 🙂

Originally I was going to.  I really wanted to.  But whenever I tried one on I couldn’t get over how I looked like a beekeeper.

I did think Chelsea Clinton looked fabulous in hers though.  It just didn’t work for me.
