I’m bringing a dessert along to our family Thanksgiving this weekend and am looking for suggestions. We will already have pumpkin pie, so I don’t need to worry about bringing that. My staple is apple pie, but I’m looking to make something different this time. Suggestions?

Pecan pie is always a favorite in my family. It also travels really well (doesn’t need to be kept in the fridge) and so easy to make. Another really good dish is Nutella Cheesecake. I haven’t made it yet myself, but it’s seriously one of the best desserts I’ve ever had (a friend recently made some for me).

We always buy and bring a pecan pie from a local BBQ place famous for it’s pecan pies. Pecan pie is definitely my favorite dessert, but I’ve never made it so I don’t know how hard that would be to make.

It’s not very Thanksgiving-y, but I’m making key lime pie because my family loves mine. It’s only 3 ingredients. Easier pie ever!
