I’m thankful for having two jobs that allow me to pay my bills, a SO who stands by my side and loves me no matter what, family and friends who are super supportive and being semi-healthy.

I’m thankful for everything I have. Food to eat, roof over my head, clothes to keep me warm, a warm bed, a wonderful boyfriend, loving family, money in my bank account however little there is, my health and my loved ones health, a beautiful car to drive, and good schools for my son.

I’m thankful that this is the last year that Fiance and I will spend Thanksgiving apart. Since becoming a couple 5+ years ago, we’ve only spent 1 Thanksgiving together. We’ve committed that once we’re married, we’ll travel/stay together no matter what.

I’m thankful I work for a lovely company with great coworkers. I’m thankful for my friends and my family (who I’m spending this Thanksgiving with). I’m thankful for my two demon furbabies who I wouldn’t trade for the world (even when they gang up on other dogs and get kicked out of daycare together). I’m thankful that I live in a beautiful home with the love of my life, who provides for me and takes care of me. I’m also thankful that I get to have my dream wedding, thanks to two supportive and wonderful families.

I am thankful for:

My daughter she is the light of my life. She has helped me grow in ways I never expected. I have never met anyone more challenging or wonderful as this little girl that grows everyday before me.

My fiance he is so wonderful, kind and generous. He’s there on my adventures and when I can barely function. He is my best friend and I couldnt ask for anyone more wonderful to share this life with.

My new kitty. He is exactly what I needed. He sticks to me like glue when I feel rough. He makes me laugh and comforts me when I’m down.

My family they support me and are there when I need them.

My awesome friends who are supportive, and make me laugh.

I’m thankful for the house we live in. The food we have to eat 🙂

I am thankful for my family that I still have left, my incredible and supportive friends, my husband that will stand by my side no matter what, and my dogs.  Of course I could go on and on, but those people and pooches are the things that I can go to when I’m having an off day and need some cheering up.

I’m thankful for my family.  They’re crazy, obnoxious, loud, and kind of redneck, but they’re irreplaceable and so special to me.

I’m thankful for my wonderful husband.  He is supportive, caring, and just all-around amazing 🙂

I’m thankful that we are expecting a baby, and that we were blessed/lucky enough to be successful in trying to get pregnant.  It isn’t as easy for a lot of people, and we are aware of how special it is to be starting a family.

I’m thankful for my dogs.  They are (mostly) well behaved and healthy.  My oldest great dane is going to be 6 this spring, and I’m thankful that I’ve had him in my life as long as I have, and that I am able to provide a safe, loving, happy home for him.  I know he won’t be around forever, so I’m thankful for each birthday I get to celebrate with him.  I’m thankful that my other great dane has settled down from a bout with separation anxiety when we adopted her.  She has come out of her shell and is a wonderful addition to our family.  I’m thankful that I was able to take in our fluffy mutt and be there for her when she needed a family.  Her original owner was an elderly woman who passed away in her apartment, leaving the dog alone and scared.  I was in the right place at the right time, and I couldn’t be happier that my sweet girl was placed in my life just when we needed each other.

I’m thankful for my job.  I have a steady, secure job, health benefits, a great boss, a stable schedule, and I like what I do.  I really couldn’t ask for more.  Well, I did ask for a raise once and was met with a fit of maniacal laughter… I took that as a “no”.

I’m thankful for my friends.  I have the best girlfriends anyone could ask for.  I’m also thankful that I can be a good friend to those who have been wonderful friends to me.

Lastly, I’m thankful for the Bee.  I have made some really good IRL friends here, and I’ve found this community to be so supportive and accepting, even when opinions differ.  I got married and pregnant in the same year, and that’s a lot of change all at once.  It’s nice to know that I’m not the only person going through these changes, and I’m so thankful that I can come here and share experiences, fears, joys, insecurities, and milestones.

Holy novel… I guess I’m thankful I’m literate as well 🙂

Have a fabulous holiday season!
