(Closed) Thankyou cards time frame

I opted to use a simple thank you card (the card matched the invitations and STD- found them on Vistaprint).  It was a cheaper option and allowed me to get the thank you cards out ASAP.

I really do not think you need to use or photo or include a photo in the thank you.

@cuddlz88:  within 3 months, however, the sooner the better. I would ask your photographer for a picture. Yes, he’s probably busy but he might be able to get you a couple of edited pictures. I think if waiting for a picture is going to push off thank you notes for three + months you should just get plain notes. The ones we receive all go into a box of received cards anyways.

i think 3 months is good timing like ^Mrs. Beck said. 

my FSIL & FBIL waited like some 6 months to send out their thank you cards for their engagement party and have YET to send out their save the dates (wedding is in march)

so they’re a LITTLE behind the ball and it’s safe to say it’s been noticed and commented upon.

Check if your photographer can send you the teaser pix hi-res, if not, I would go ahead and send your TYs out now, so you’ve gotten it out of the way.
