- Wedding: June 2013
…when me and my Fiance decided to leave a ceremony of marriage. I want to know How rude is this, as I have really no idea and I am feeling bad after doing this.
To sum up a bit the story. My FI’s good friend got engaged and he invitated us to participate at his wedding not too long ago. We have been participated during the day, but also, sorry I do not know the terms right (grgr), in the evening until lets say 22H30. The problem was, among other personal issues, the FI’s friend was far away with the beautiful bride. We bearly knew anybody there. The people at our table were non-talkative, if I may say so and so on…
Therefor we decided to leave the ceremony without let my FI’s friend know, as this may have heart him in a way.
What do you think ? Is this a very rude thing to do, should we have let him know about our decision. I felt bad, a bit unconfortable thinking about our run.
The groom send us a very beautiful message the next day thanking us for our presence, especially becuase we had made the effort to come from far way for his special day.
