When I first got engaged, I had found THE DRESS. Something blingy & beautiful & poofy!
I pushed it out of my mind thinking it was “too prom”. But man, I can’t get this dress out of my mind! No dress stands up to it and I LOVE this dress.
Here’s the dress, and I’ve decided I’m going to go through with getting it. It’s very unique and I’m afraid I won’t be able to find it again [or get an exact replica made], if I don’t get it now. The best part? It’s $150!
And here’s the bridesmaid dress I’ve pick out to go with it:
What do you think about these dresses/combo?
What dress can’t you stop thinking about?!

The wedding dress is definitely very blingy and has a very unique look to it! I think you will look great in it – it’s sort of “over the top” and I get the sense that that’s what you’re going for, so that’s great! And at $150, it’s not a huge risk if you change your mind in the next 20 months.
I love the bodice on the bridesmaids’ dresses. I don’t love the bottom. To be honest, to me it looks like a wedding dress that was dyed pink, and not very well (the ombre probably looks better in person, I do like ombre).

@NAvery: I agree with everything especially the bridesmaid’s dresses.

@NAvery: I do agree, it does look like a wedding dress that was changed, that was sort of what I was going for. My dress is SO blinging and poofy, I figured I would be able to put them in something much more larger/detailed than the typical bridesmaid dress. I wanted them to have some bling & some poof without going all crazy. It was actually alot tougher than I imagined!
And yes, IRL I’m very blingy & sometimes a tad “over the top”. This dress seriously looks like someone knew me and created it for me!

The dress I can’t get out of my mind changes daily 😉 I get obsessed with a dress then find another to be obsessed with later… I’m an inconsistent obsessor. But almost every dress I obsess over is a ballgown for full a-line.
The dress you picked out is quite glamourous! Can’t wait to see a pic of you in it!

@howtobeawife: I had this problem too. I tend to sift through tons of dresses, but this one always lingers in the back of my mind! There are so many beautiful dresses out there, it is hard to choose just 1!

@BlondeMissMolly: LOL “Why would you pay $15 thousand for roses…on your butt?” That episode was hilarious.
I’m definitely still lusting over the VW White bias flange dress:
This dress with a blingy sash and altered to a sweetheart neckline. So many brides have the neckline altered, and I am shocked that it wasn’t originally designed as a sweetheart. Then again, I don’t think any dress with a straight neckline is flattering.

I am beyond in love with this Johanna Johnson, which, besides being no longer available, is WAY out of budget. But…yeah.

I can’t get this one out of my head and even though I bought a dress, I’ve asked Jasmines for a quote because I just have to know. I LOVE it.
