What is that special thing you added for your ceremony..that you are uber excited about.
MINE: Due to my religion, during the ceremony I will have to pin my veil onto the right side of my Fiance..It symbolises God being his head, and he being my head. The head of my home was my father and by pinning on the veil I am giving him the position as head of our home.
The first time I saw this was for my Future Brother-In-Law wedding.. I cried when I saw it happen. It’s so beautiful.
What is the special part in your wedding.

We incorporated a poem I wrote for Fiance when we first met which is also engraved on a picture frame in our house.

We had a section in our ceremony where our families responded to the minister when he asked if he gave their blessing, and then he proceeded to ask the rest of our friends and family in attendance to give their blessing by giving us a round of applause 🙂 It was a sweet, noisy, moment!

We had blessings from our parents right when the processional ended, my Nana read a poem as the greeting, we presented flowers to the parents after our unity candle lighting, and we had a slideshow at the end of the ceremony for people to watch as we ushered them as a couple (rather than having a receiving line). It was great to add in little touches that made the ceremony ours.
