I think 1.5 2ish is big. There are some outstanding rings of every size on this site. I really enjoy seeing the creativity and personality of individuals in the settings, bands, various stones.

I think it depends on the size and setting. I’m horrible at guessing though and never seem to get it right. I have a 1.5 round with a dainty halo and a thin band on a size 5 finger and get the “huge rock” comments all the time, because my fingers are slim and the band is so tiny that in contrast the center stone looks bigger due to proportions.

Generally, I’d say that 1.5 and above falls into “big rock” category for me!  But, as others have mentioned, the proportionality does play a role.
