@Lyndzo: I can’t either, I just make a good show of it! π
@BOGB: *more virtual hugs* I’m sure they just need to ramp up the dosage a little. Good luck with your bloodwork today – I’ll be thinking about you!
@Mrs. Doily: I really hope if I do move on I get to take at least one of you lovely ladies with me. I think even once we make it over to the Pregnancy threads, most of the women in there will have no idea why every twinge, cramp and TP check will be absolutely terrifying for us, on a whole other level than it is for those who haven’t tried so long and who haven’t suffered a loss. It would be nice to share a pregnancy with some of you ladies who would understand. XOX
@Solis2013: Congrats on your DH being ready to face that – I think it’s a scary concept for most men! As for charting, start temping right away just to get used to it. I found my first month or so of temping it was about getting into a rhythm and coming to understand how it all works and what each temp means. That first month is still valuable data, but you’re basically wearing training wheels the whole time. I also found that I was losing sleep the first week through worrying about temping in the morning, so it might be good to get through that part before the data is actually important. GL!
@med700: Thanks missy! The pee-holding thing was the worst – in fact, I couldn’t hold it. I drank so much water in the morning that I peed 3 times in an hour and a half before I went in, but I took a 1L bottle of water with me. I chugged it in the waiting room and hoped I had some residual already sitting in my bladder. The relief I felt when he told me to go empty it before the trasvaginal U/S was unbelievable! It’s bad enough when you think you might pee your pants, but it’s so much worse when there’s a guy hanging around in that area and you feel you might let loose at any second! haha
@MrsHovzilla: I just called, to say, I love youuuuuu! *serenades* Seriously – you’re amazing, and that comment just made my day! XOXOXOXOX
@mrs.stormylove: I’m glad the worst of AF must be over then, at least there’s that? As for the dairy and gluten-free – I don’t know how people do it. Dairy I can do without (except I eat lactose-free yoghurts like they’re going out of style), but gluten? Have you ever TRIED gluten-free bread? It’s DISGUSTING. It like, CRUMBLES. The only thing that’s gluten-free (that would normally have gluten in it) that’s good is cereals – those Gorilla Balls are awesome. Have you dipped into the soy and almond milks? I like them both but have heard through random tidbits here and there that you shouldn’t have a lot of soy while TTC – I don’t know why. It might be worth googling if you’re currently drinking a lot of soy milk.
@RoyalLime: Thanks hon, I’ll update after the appointment (it’s at 12:30PST). DH MIGHT be willing to work out with me, but he goes to one of these old-school gyms where they have a ton of hanging bags and medicine balls and tons of freeweights. They don’t have treadmills or ellipticals or even recumbant (recumbent?) bikes — which is all the stuff I’d be wanting to use. I’ve been thinking about getting a treadmill or elliptical for home use, but we just don’t have the room for one. I already walk the dog twice a day, so I’m hoping to get into running with the dog. I did do a little this morning – I ran with him for 2 minutes, then walked for 3, then ran for 2, walked for 3 on our usual route. I’m hoping to slowly build up that way. If you have any tips to share I’d love to hear them!!!!
@hardtoconcentrate: I’m sure your O date didn’t suddenly change. Either way your timing is STILL really good. I know this is one area you guys have struggled, and I think it’s awesome that you guys managed to pull this off! *knuckles your head, like an annoying uncle* Don’t worry hetero-platonic soul-mate, you’ve got this in the bag π
@LAZB: Thanks hon π XOX
