@RoyalLime: Yep! Same time every day. I took them at night because I read it lowers the risk of side affects like hot flashes, moodiness, etc.
Wait at least four days after your last pill to use OPK’s – if you choose to use them. I almost had an emotional breakdown my first month on Clomid because I OPK’d too early and got a false positive – then googled it to find out it raises your LH levels so it can cause a false positive.
Pre-seed will most likely be your new BFF. Clomid can dry you up.
General O time is 5-10 days after your last pill – I did a little FF study on those who used clomid and found it was more common at 9-10 days after, I was also 9-10 days after.
That’s about all I can think of right now…

@hardtoconcentrate: I’m sorry hun. It’s hard to see their disappointment every month. We just gotta keep on keepin’ on and know that our turn will come soon. Maybe in May like Jenny Renny said?!
Oh my goodness!! My DH would be so pissed at himself lol. But you’re right, all you can do is laugh! I’m glad you’re able to go back this Saturday. FX that his swimmers are perfect!
Thanks love! Yes I have O’d without many symptoms before. I hardly ever get tender breasts and only sometimes do I feel O pain that is very prominent. Sometimes it’s more of a hmmm that could be O… But looking at your chart I definitely see a temp shift. I would say you O’d on CD 18 which is awesome!
Boo I’m sorry about AF girl. :/ That’s exciting about the Clomid though! The only other thing I have heard (from YellowClover I believe) is to take it in the evening because it reduces how much of the side effects you will feel. GL lady I am keeping my FX so hard for you!! ETA- @Yellow.Clover: beat me to it! Lots of great info! 🙂
9dpo here and not feeling much. A little pulling/pinching in the ovary/uterus area but I know that probably doesn’t mean anything. DH is taking his “specimen” to the fertility clinic on Thursday so we should know how his swimmers are doing by the end of next week hopefully. I’m really hoping they come back normal!

@Yellow.Clover: THANK YOU!!! Well if I O at my pre HSG day it will be day 19 which is 10 days after the last pill. Thankfully we already have preseed 🙂 Guess we are just going to have to strap in and BD like crazy to insure we don’t miss the window. Did you temp while taking it?

@MrsMonty11: Thanks love ;)….I see your DH is at the same page as mine, FX his swimmers are a bunch of Michael Phelps hee hee ;))))))

@MrsMonty11: Thanks! Thinking positive thoughts for your hubby’s SA!!! FX he passes with flying colors!!
Yes I did, I actually didn’t start charting until my second round of Clomid, but I don’t think it affected my temps any???

@ MrsR4ever – Thank you so much! Yes, I am new. Although I’ve been watching and searching on these boards for the past few months. Finally decided to show my face. 😉
I’ve been on Clomid – currently on my 4th round of it at 100mg. I also have done Ovidrel these past two months (most currently on the 9th). Luckily I’ve had no side effects from either drug. I did try and take it the same time every day.
Our next steps are me going on a PCOS medicine that has a side effect of people getting pregnant, even though that is not what the intended use of it is. I cannot think of the name of it. After that, we’ll move onto IUIs. My husband hasn’t had a SA so I think I might try that before the IUI. I have to admit I get pretty down when AF comes. My husband had to hold me while I sobbed back on March 25th. I am wishing and hoping and crossing everything that it happens this month, because I may need to take a break if not. It’s pretty hard to to see a BFN and AF. Which I know you all know already.

@hardtoconcentrate: *crawls into your cave with you*
I totally understand the lure of your chart – I thought you’d ovulated on CD19 when I checked it. BUT, listen to your gut, and if you have to question it, it hasn’t happened. XOX
I hope this time on your break is speeding by so fast you haven’t had time to even think about it! XOX
How are you doin honey?
I honestly don’t know how I would have survived the last 10 months without some of the ladies on here. I’ve made a few REALLY great friends on these boards, friendships I hope last the test of time. I hope you find the same!
Thanks hon, I’m pretty stoked about our timing. 😀

@razzzzzz: You’re right, it DOES feel amazing! 😉 I’m so glad you’re doing well – I know it comes in waves sometimes. As for your path forwards, I am SO excited for you. It’s time for you to leave this in the hands of the professionals and let them fight to get this done for you. XOX Good luck – and PLEASE keep us posted! XOX
Thanks missy! I feel so special that you popped in to say that! How are you doing??
I’m sorry about AF, kiddo. 🙁
How are you doin this week, love?
Your DH cracks me up!!!! He must think his balls are like piggy banks!

Hi ladies. Just wanted to give you two BIG HUGS. Moving onto cycle 9 is no fun. This TTC stuff is the worst, but we can let us get us down. Hang in there!

@MrsPuddingface: After tonight I’m doing spectacular!
So I’ve been down in the dumps since last months blocked tube discovery and mother natures April fools joke of being a week late. Tonight I had my first appointment with my new RE. He looked at everything and seemed pretty positive about things. He thinks I do have pcos but I am responding very well to the metformin. He thinks DH’s swimmers are not that bad and responding great to the meds. He also doesn’t think my blocked tube requires surgery as of now.
So where do we go from here? He said we can try on our own for a bit longer or when I get my period I can call him up get clomid and try IUI!!

Hi ladies. Thought I’d pop in to say hi. Sorry I haven’t been around. Don’t really have much to update and kinda don’t feel like we are even TTC since I haven’t O’d since December.
@hardtoconcentrate: @ScottishMrs: Sorry sorry about the 9 month/cycle mark. Hugs to you both. Prayers that the next cycle is the one!
Good luck with the clomid, I hope this is all it takes for you! I don’t have any advice outside of what Yellow.Clover
said. I did temp while taking clomid but my cycles are really off and irregular so I have to temp to confirm O.
woohoo CH! And on CD19?! LOVE IT!
Based on your temps, it does look like you O’d but I definitely think you should go with your intuition. Plus it doesn’t seem like you usually get EWCM after O – so maybe it’s almost happening? Ha, guess I’m not helpful at all – sorry.
Lots of love to you ladies! Lots of prayers that we start seeing a string of BFPs on this thread. XOXO!

@BOGB: Thank you. I’ve been thinking about you a lot. How are you holding up? I still stalk your chart daily hoping for that O! What’s the game plan now? Will you try a higher dose next cycle? I can’t wait for you to have some success soon, and just know that you are definitely in my thoughts! xoxox
Glad the RE appointment went well – how exciting!! FX that that’s all it takes for you to get your BFP!
Thanks so much for the kind words. How are you doing? Are you able to start trying again yet? I hope you get your sticky BFP so very soon!
Welcome to the group! I hope your stay is short and sweet. This is a great group of women. 🙂

@hardtoconcentrate: Aww thanks love! I know that clomid doesn’t work for a lot of people at 50mg but it came as bit of a shock to me that I didn’t O and I’m not sure what my next step is honestly. I was told to wait until 6 weeks after LMP to come back to the office and get provera to induce AF so I have time to decide. I don’t know if I should push for a higher dose of clomid or if I should work on becoming more healthy and trying to see if I can’t just figure out how to get my cycle to be more regular (with metformin or a specific diet or something). I’m also not sure if I love my doctor at the moment, so lots of decisions ahead of me. I guess I have time though. Been thinking about you lots too. Hugs!
