@BOGB:  Also, look up Pregnitude. It’s a supplement that has similar affects as metformin without the nasty gastrointestinal side affects. I tried it for two months but then gave up on it, but I’m thinking about trying it again next cycle. I’ve read it has worked well for many others in regulating cycles. It also helps improve egg quality.

Hello ladies! Just checking in. Thanks for all the support, as always! I had my hcg levels checked again this morning so I should know by tomorrow where they are at. I’m hoping for close to zero but that is completely unrealistic so I’ll be happy with somewhere around 400 (about half of last week’s number). I have been following everyone’s progress and am cheering you all on!

    @med700:  sorry about AF πŸ™

@MrsR4ever:  well, there goes my theory. LOL. I’m sorry the baby shower was so difficult for you. One day soon you will be having your own baby shower and all this sadness will be a thing of the past! xx

In non-cycle related news, going back to the poll…those who are going team green – how do you feel about the baby shower/planning nurseries etc not knowing the sex? I just know I wouldn’t want a bunch of green/yellow clothes, etc. Ideas? I know it’s probably stupid to even talk about since I’m obviously not pregnant yet (even though I hope that I am!!!;)) or mabye even materialistic, but I’m curious as to what others would do because I would REALLY like to be team green, except the planner in me is going against it. Thoughts?

    Hello Ladies…

I am one of those bees that pops on everyso often and posts. But I am hoping to be a bit more  involved with the boards. Mainly to get my mind off the ttw!

    Cycles/months trying:  8 cycles

    Current CD/DPO:  3 dpo

Chart (if you have one):  Decided not to chart this month because it was driving me nuts and I became a bit crazy about it!

Any known issues?  Not that we know of. Perfectly healthy, regular O, etc etc … I am going to the doctors to start looking into possible reasons in May but hubby refuses to get a SA until a year of trying … ugh men!

Supplements/medications:  Prenatals, B complex, fish oil, Vitamin D, Calcium

Next steps? Doctors in May… eek!

Explain your “Poll” Answer: We never even thought about waiting for the gender, its automatic with both us to find out the gender. Plus we are both planners, and knowing the gender helps us plan =)

Ladies I am dreading tomorrow. AF is due tomorrow and I just don’t want her to come.  I was stupid and peed on a cheapie tonight. I thought I saw the faintest shadow ever but I’m sure I’m just trying to imagine one πŸ™

@Yellow.Clover:  We’re planning to be team green and the baby stuff I look at now is colours like teal, green, yellow, navy, black, grey, red, orange, white, etc. Just not pink or baby blue. You’ll get a few items in the traditional colours from people but at least some of them will go to use. I’m planning a dark teal, black, and white nursery and baby stuff. My parents were team green for all 11 of us and all of my aunts and uncles have done the same (we never called it team green though, I only learned that phrase here on WB). There will always be a few gift cards given at the shower too and you can go spend them on gender specific things after the baby is born.

@Lyndzo:  I’ll keep my FX for you, but I’ve ceased to trust almost non-existent lines myself.

Thank you everyone who is praying for my mom. I feel much calmer inside now that I know she’s got an army of people praying for her. I went to the museum today with her and my 3 youngest siblings and we talked a bit. They’re doing lots and lots of blood tests and checking and rechecking the results. I’m not sure if there’s a date for the ultrasound yet. They’re thinking that a tumour in her kidney is a possibility or that there could be a blocked artery there (she doesn’t have the high blood pressure to go with that though).

ETA: We were discussing it today and if we conceive but something happens and my mom might not make it to when the baby is born, we might find out the gender so that she can know. She’s looking forward to being a grandma.

Also, I just found out today that the girl who got married at my church the week before DH and I is 5 months PG. *sigh*

I told my mom that my dad is going to get quite the earfull for not letting me play contact sports like football and rugby if I am infertile. He always said that he didn’t want me compromising my fertility like that, but if it wouldn’t have mattered I’m not going to be very happy.
