@MrsMonty11:  DH and I arent telling anyone at all.  Our friends and family don’t even know that we are TTC.  None of our friends ever had to actually “try” to get pregnant.  All of their pregnancies were unplanned but very wanted!  My sisters and his sister never had problems getting pregnant.  We think they might look at us different, if we tell or they might not even understand it, you know.  I actually told a friend when we first started TTC and I got the old saying “just relax”, so I never mentioned again and now she thinks I am not longer trying.  I rather keep it that way.  I am glad, however, that you can share this with your friends and family and that you have their support and understanding.  That’s awesome!

@MrsMonty11: Actually, I tell pretty much everyone who is interested or asks. I told my boss, because I’ll be late to work quite a bit, so I figured she should know so that she doesn’t worry that something might be up. I’ve been here a long time so we’re pretty close. Of course our parents/close family knows. Sadly none of my friends know, because, well…they kinda suck. They know what we’re going through, but never take the time to ask what’s going on and how we’re doing. So..if they wanted to know, they’d find out. I’m really not sure who all knows being that not many people keep things to themselves anymore. I’ve also made a few comments on FB infertility pages that aren’t private. From that, I know my cousin knows because she “liked” the comment.

Since joining the walk and making a commitment to spread awareness, I haven’t hid anything. I’m not blasting it, but if someone asks I don’t hide it. It’s actually quite interesting how little people know about fertility treatments. You mention it and people automatically think, “test tube babies” – a term I DESPISE. They think multiples, surrogacy, etc. So it’s been nice educating as much as I can on the processes we’re doing.

@MrsMonty11:  I haven’t told anyone and it eats at me. I really do wish I had someone. If you feel comfortable confining in anymore, I say go for it. I started to talk to my mom about it but I got the standard “just relax it will happen” and just gave up. She got pregnant on her first try both times. It doesn’t help that both my SILs are due soon and they both got pregnant by just looking at their spouses. It makes it that much harder to say anything for some reason. Its almost like I feel like there is something wrong with me and I’m embarrassed (which I know is unreasonable but…). If I still lived near my old friends I might have spilled but when we moved a few years ago I’m not as close now so it would seem weird to just call to tell them that.

So I’m dealing with insurance not paying for ANY blood tests even though my EOB said it does “testing but not treatment”…including the rubella screening which I think is a load of BS and I’m appealing it. It means I’ve got to shell out $700 dollars. I’m waiting for the official bill from the doctor. But I don’t think I can go back this month for 7dpo blood work. This is all so fucking frustrating. It also means we won’t be able to seek any more treatment. I just don’t know what to do. Nothing is ever easy for us. I’ve been battling being severely depressed over all this.

@MrsMonty11:  DH said “I didn’t think two dark lines would ever make me horny but I guess that’s what it’s come to!”  Haha!

I need some help with an opk. I took one today and I think I got a positive but I’m not sure because I’ve never used the first response ones before.
