@lonsk:  thanks.  That’s very sweet of you. Heartbreaking sometimes but definitely a place where I get to make a difference most days which is great.

@Mrs. Jaguar:  Did I miss a jag sibling/sibling in law announcing that they’re pregnant?  We’re still on the running tothe the first grand kid on both sides (and great grandkid on 3) but definitely have our eye on dh’s sister and his cousin that just got married may long weekend. Especially the cousin we figure is going to be trying right away.

@SapphireSun:  No announcements … yet. But Brother-In-Law and SIL have already announced they’re trying – and I can 99% guarantee it’ll work for them sooner rather than later. Just a gut feeling, you know?

@Mrs. Jaguar:  I totally get being bummed about not having the first grandchild. We would have if our BFP earlier this year would have panned out, but my sister and her DH found out last month that they’re expecting. They’ve been trying for a long time (18 months) so I’m happy for them, but still jealous.

@redsmarties:  Bummer about having to spend your day with a boring, misinformed, inappropriate speaker. That stuff makes me mental!

Random bitch for the day:

People who celebrate unplanned pregnancies and OOPS accidents with comments like ‘Yay – SO much easier than spending ages TTC and stressing out’.

Yeah, that makes people who ARE still struggling feel SO much better. #sarcasm

@Mrs. Jaguar:  Are you kidding?!? Who the hell would ever say that? Way to kick those struggling while they’re down! I hate people sometimes. Part of me would want to make a smart ass response back and part of me thinks anyone callous enough to say something like that wouldnt even get it.

@Mrs. Jaguar:  Those are the WORST posts ever. Like “Oh, thank goodness we didn’t actually have to TRY, that would be miserable!” Gee, thanks for reminding me about my bum uterus. Love that.

TWO babies of friends were born today. Two boys, with names that DH and I LOVE. I’m really happy for them – its that happy/sad thing, you know? One new mama had a miscarriage awhile ago, and the other has major health problems, so I AM happy that all went well. But that makes THREE announcements, FOUR babies, and TWO TTC-announcements in the last two weeks. Hey universe, what’s the deal?

@SapphireSun:  I got what I deserved for sneaking anyway. My whacko temperature was punishment enough.

@Mrs. Jaguar:  Oh ok.  I thought I’d just missed you talking about it before.  Also… yes, I saw that thread.  I can’t hold it against them though, because I bet finding out it happened accidentally a few months before they meant to do it anyway IS better than stressing about it for years.

@redsmarties:  sorry about the crazy temp.

Yep, I woke up to a FB post by my ex-boyfriend and his wife (who got together WHILE we were still together) and they welcomed a brand new baby this morning.  The fact that they named it Garfield… made things a little better.

Names that you love being used .. well, that’s hard. Especially if you’ve had things planned out in your head for years, but your body doesn’t co-operate. Every time I get sad that one of my favourite names has been snapped up, I try and remind myself that the right one will just WORK when we eventually become parents. 🙂

@SapphireSun:  The fact that they named it Garfield… made things a little better. Bahahahahahaaaa….

I feel similarly about a girl I went to school with, who got accidently pregnant, updated us every.freaking.day on facebook, was a ‘glamour model’ (read: trashy photos on train tracks) and used horrible trashy photos as her pic while pregnant… and named her daughter Chance. And refers to as her “Miss Chance” (dictionary definition, mischance: an unhappy accident). Teehee!! Oh, and middle name, frequently published = Naveah, which I couldn’t work out until I saw a thread on here about terrible names and worked out it was Heaven, spelled backwards AND incorrectly (umm, second letter ‘e’, people!!)!! We have a word for people like this here in Aus, “bogan”.

@SapphireSun:  ooooh, Garfield is an interesting choice:) How does anyone hear that name and NOT think of a fat cat?!

@hamikay:  I have like 3 college friends who post similar “glamour model” pics. I’d de-friend them, but I get so many good laughs out of them! Neveah is hilarious- like they thought they’d change it up a bit from how it’s normally spelled? Or they just can’t spell backward (of forward) very well? Either way, redic!

Weird names are interesting. Weird names that make no sense are even MORE interesting – as are ones based off incorrect spellings!!!! 😉

Hey ladies

So i went to the RE and it went well! We are trying Clomid again this cycle but using a trigger (ummm giving myself shots…yikes!) My RE is against IUI’s (he just thinks you have almost the same chances with timed intercourse) so we will try this for this cycle- perhaps next cycle raising the dose of Clomid- and then moving onto IVF in the next few months- he said our insurance will cover it (as DH and I both have issues.) So I guess I am feeling a bit more positive.

For your PCOS ladies who are asking about my weight loss- Dukan diet. It sucks… and its not easy- but it works. Especially with the metformin. I am finally seeing results! I still am losing and have goals for myself- but I am getting there!

@redsmarties:  So glad you’re enjoying your Running!  It used to be something I really enjoyed as well. I’m just back at training now and I can’t say the runners high has found me yet. But I’m sticking with it. I so don’t want to be the loser that kills our relay time.  It’s run 10k fast or getknocked up so I have a valid excuse not to race at all. Haha.
