@BrianneG:  I almost missed your post because of the new part. This must be a very emotional, exciting and scary time for you. I can not imagine what kind of thoughts must be racing through your mind right now. You are so close to get in touch with your biological father but I’m sure there are a lot of questions to be answered first. Good luck!

@Yellow.Clover:  Congrats on your weight loss! I don’t have experience with PCOS but I learnt from so many ladies here on this board that it must be incredibly difficult to lose weight when dealing with that symptom! Congrats! You are doing great!

@bunny:  Hey girl – I’m with you on that bus. You are not alone! I’ve been part of this lovely group since part 1 and while I’ve not been trying for as long as you or Jag I def get the feeling that everything and everyone is moving forward but you. But remember – you are not standing still. You are losing weight. You are getting healthy. You are moving forward and you are creating the best nest possible for your future baby.

@septcabride:  Hi πŸ™‚ Always nice to see you. I’m sure we all would love an update how you are doing.

@MrsFarmer:  Thanks my friend for the special shout out! I’m blushing a bit over here πŸ™‚ I do not think you are going about this the wrong way! There is no right or wrong. Each couple has to go down that path in its own way, with its own pace. Some may choose to take a side road, some may choose to take the highway. Some may choose to stop along the way and some may choose to go wherever they are taken. Even though we are taking a different path I admire you from the bottom of my heart for having the strength, patience and faith to give yourself more time. Trust your feelings and your decision.

  • Cycle/Day:  CD1. Month 17-18!
  • History/Issues: PCOS. Anovulatory cycles. Male factor.
  • Chart?: Probably not going to do it this cycle because of…
  • What you need/are trying to find this cycle (besides a BFP, obv):  Hopefully IVF #2! I’m waiting for a call back from my fertility centre.
  • How you are going after it/what we can do to help:  I’m debating whether we do Acupuncture, but my gut tells me not to. Weird, right? You guys help just by listening.
  • A special Bee shout out (let’s show the love):  Everyone here. Bunny especially, since you’ve been working so hard to lose weight & you’re such an inspiration. I’m right here on the bus with you, friend!
  • Next steps if this months doesn’t work: Oh gosh. I am firmly hoping that this time around we’ll get luckier and it’ll work. I don’t want to think ahead.
  • Have you tried the Jho PP yet: Doesn’t help if you’re not ovulating, I’m afraid.
  • How do you stay sane in this IF insane world: trying to be strong/positive for everyone else. It gets me through. πŸ™‚

  • What you need/are trying to find this cycle (besides a BFP, obv):  To try to make TTC more enjoyable and less like something routine.

  • How you are going after it/what we can do to help:  It’s difficult because the deed needs to be done! lol, but we’re trying to go about it in a more fun way.

  • A special Bee shout out (let’s show the love):  Everyone!

  • Next stepts if this months doesn’t work: Oh man, I don’t even want to think this could take much longer. We have at least 6 more months before any medical help.

  • Cycle/Day:  CD26. Cycle 12. 10 or 11 DPO
  • History/Issues: Timing ovulation for 12 cycles and it’s only slightly inconsistent with cycles that last 27 to 32 days.  HSG totally clear. No issues in hubby’s SA. We’re in our early 30s and heading towards unexplained infertility.
  • Chart?: I get up too many times in the night and at different times every day to temp. But I’m consistent with the CBEFM and I use OPKs to confirm.
  • What you need/are trying to find this cycle (besides a BFP, obv):  I get to try Clomid this cycle. My GYN prescribed 50 mg for days 3-7 and estrogen for days 8-12. I’m also waiting on a referral for an RE. I’m not sure if it’s going to do anything since I seem to already be ovulating, but I’ve also read it can improve your chances of implantation. Maybe I’m not really ovulating and my body is just sending out all the ovulation signals without releasing any eggs.
  • How you are going after it/what we can do to help:  I’ve done 11 weeks of acupuncture with TCM (nasty smelling tea three times/day) but I’m about done with that. I take a multi-vitamin and tons of supplements (Fish Oil, CoQ10, Super B Complex, Vitamins C and E)
  • A special Bee shout out (let’s show the love):  Everyone rocks here. You make me feel less crazy especially since my husband doesn’t want anyone to know that we’re trying.
  • Next steps if this months doesn’t work: Down the long road of clomid, IUI, and IVF. We can afford the treatments so I’m read to get started. I’m sick of not being able to get KU.
  • Have you tried the Jho PP yet: We did it this time, right before ovulation. Guess I’ll find out in a couple days if it actually works.
  • How do you stay sane in this IF insane world: I work a lot. And luckily, it’s summer now so I get to see my husband more often. He’s in grad school part-time while working full-time and spring semester really kicked his ass.

  • History/Issues: Elevated FSH, scant CM. No male factors.
  • Chart?:  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/383c30 (currently on break from charting)
  • What you need/are trying to find this cycle (besides a BFP, obv):  What @elchalten said being here and now and appreciative of my DH & DC(Dear Cat)
  • How you are going after it/what we can do to help:  Bringing back the fun with DH, doing Acupuncture, keeping up with my yoga classes.
  • A special Bee shout out (let’s show the love):  Everyone here! I am so glad to have this supportive group to share our thoughts.
  • Next stepts if this months doesn’t work: continue on clomid one more cycle and head down the road of IUI/IVF.

@Wispy:  Grrrr. Let us know how your results go, hon. Thinking of you! x

Looks like a lot of us are dipping our toes into IUI/IVF. What a great support network you all are.

Just wanted to share this. Lately DH has been interested in WB since he is seeing me on here all the time! He was reading some posts and sweetly asked me what Dh meant was it Dumb Husband? lol He does not know my profile name and I’d like to keep it that way I would be so embarresed Embarassed

Also update from my AP appt I was told it was sticking but I have a fire inside my body so guess it cooked up the little one. Might be due to clomid as nothing else was different in my routine this cycle. I am going to ask for some cooling herbs for next cycle if she has not already prescribed. I am sad but also happy to know that atleast my body is trying so hopefully next cycle will be it.
