@SapphireSun:  You can tell I’m PMS-ing because as soon as you typed the word brownies, my stomach growled. πŸ™‚

Well I just got smacked in the face with a pregnancy announcment. I had plans to work on photo editing tonight but now I’m just going to be stewing away in the corner and crying intermittently. Awesome.

@Wispy:  Oh man:( What a total let down I’m sure! If your bloodwork Monday doesn’tlook “normal” I would definitely ask for concrete next steps (ie, if the number isn’t X by X date then this will be the course of action. I am so so sorry that this is dragging out so much for you!

@bunny:  Ughhh, I hate the unexpected announcements. Have a glass of wine while you cry intermittently- it always makes me feel better not as terible πŸ™‚

@bunnees:  my doc told me 60 days was the earliest he’d induce a period too. I feel for you, that is a long time to have to wait:(

@gingersnap25:  Bummer on having to have to take a month off. Did the vaccination wear off or was there something else that caused you to need another dosage?

@Mrs. Jaguar:  Thanks! That’s basically all my life is right now, anyway…baking and (a lack of) babies. And please…I might SOUND relatively calm, but I’m just a big old stress case all the time.

View original reply
@SapphireSun:  Well good. Because I’ve got a whole phone full of pictures of baked goods, and I need to share them with SOMEONE, lol.

@bunny:  I’m SO sorry. There must be something about this time of year – there are pregnancy announcements EVERYWHERE. I hope your night is okay.

@elchalten:  I told my naturopath that I would give the seeds two cycles before I called him again. I DIDN’T realize that two cycles would equal almost 4 months. He must be wondering what happened to me.

Thank you ladies. It is so frustrating. I am ready for a fresh start. My doctor is sending my info to a specialist. So I could be going there. Possibly back to see the other specialist who discovered the ectopic.  I will keep you posted. I appreciate all your good wishes.

Since I need a fresh start I think I may be changing my name on here. You will know it is me though.

@redsmarties:  It’s ok – we all put up a front sometimes. πŸ˜‰ The amount of times I’m friendly and polite but secretly SCREAMING on the inside is ridiculous – that’s teacher face for you!

I want to stop in and say hi too. I still like the boards better than the “other side.” I just don’t find much in common with those ladies!

Im wishing all of you the best all of the time and if I can ever answer a question aboutprocedures, etc, please pm me so I see it!

Im also non-immune for Rubella. You can’t get the vaccine whilehttp, but my re just had me sign off that I was aware of it. Apparantly a quarter of the population show as non-immune even though they’ve had the vaccination (like me). I think the incidence of rubella in the us is like 7 cases or something. So I’m not freaking out.

Ive got my reduction coming up in a couple of weeks. Its pretty weird/scary, but I think I’ll feel much better afterwards…

Lots of hugs and kisses!!!

@elchalten:  It’s just the cost. If I buy 10 sessions, then it’s $40/session. Otherwise it’s $50. But my last of the ten was this past Monday. I don’t know if I want to commit again.

@JaneyD:  Good luck with the reduction. You won’t need us folk soon – not long to go in the first trimester for you. πŸ™‚

I’m SO frustrated. Today is the end of Day 2 and I have STILL not heard back from my fertility clinic. All I want to hear is a nurse say YES, you’re logged on for IVF #2. Instead, I keep playing frigging phone tag with them & it’s driving me crazy.

If they say they’re full this cycle, I’m going to lose my mind. That is all.

Thanks everyone! I just hate the limbo of this all… that plus the nagging feeling that there is something off about my cycles. I always had really sporadic periods when I was growing up, so I guess I was hoping that I would have grown out of that. Apparently not.

Anyway, my husband made us a consultation appointment at a local university’s fertility practice on Thursday (day 55, in other words). They said that they would probably run some basic tests that will at least let us know if there is anything to be worried about… or if we should just go back home and keep at it.

I hope everyone is having a nice night. (:

@jaguar: Good luck. I hope you hear back from the clinic soon.

@bunnees:  Basic tests are great – it’s a good start! πŸ™‚

I heard back (finally) this afternoon. Unfortunately, their computers haven’t been working – so I have to wait for another call TOMORROW. o_0

@bunny:  Yeah, for something that is nearly eradicated in the US, it can certainly screw things up…if you come in contact with it in the first tri you can put your baby at serious risk.  So very sorry about the pregnancy announcement, I know all too well how that feels.  Keep your head up, it WILL be you making an announcement one day – I know it doesn’t take the sting away, but maybe it will lessen it a bit…{{{HUGS}}}

@septcabride:  Stalk away, but know we like to hear how you and blueberry are doing too!!!  So glad things are still going so well, but sorry you aren’t enjoying it – I bet it will get better and the awful feeling will be a distant memory.

@kayakgirl73:  Glad to hear things are going well for you too!  Thanks for offering to answer any questions…I may (read most likely) take you up on that!!!

@elchalten:  Thanks for your support…it means the world to me.  It may seem like a no brainer to some, but it is/was a difficult decision to make and it is great to read someone agrees…you rock!

@redsmarties:  Oh, yeah, I follow along too πŸ™‚

@MRSLMA:  Apparently the vaccine can wear off…who knew.

@JaneyD:  Good luck with the reduction…and it is great to see you here too!  Thanks for sharing your story with regard to Rubella.  I am so torn, to be honest, but I think my gut is telling me to do it, even though that means stopping everything for a month.

I’ve been following this thread since I started TTC in January and I am both happy and sad to join all of you!  Happy because you are all so awesome and sad because I totally thought I’d be pregnant by now.  I am just so thankful Jholler created this group because for every month that went by without a BFP, I knew this group would be here waiting if I needed it.

One of my best friends told me about three weeks ago that they were going to start trying for baby #2 the following week.  This morning she called to tell me she’s pregnant!  SO fast!  I am happy for her, but was crying on the phone.  She knows I’ve been trying for 6 months now and was such a good friend to tell me before she’s told many other people and to be so sensitive.  And I am genuinely happy for her, but sad for me.  Anyway, let me introduce myself!

  • Cycle/Day: Cycle #7, CD 16
  • History/Issues:  No known issues at this point
  • Chart?: No, the thought of it stresses me out
  • What you need/are trying to find this cycle (besides a BFP, obv):  Just peace in knowing it will happen and that my timeline isn’t necessarily the best timeilne.  I’m trying to let go of expectations and timelines.
  • How you are going after it/what we can do to help:  I’ve been taking Royal Jelly, a daily multi-vitamin, fish oil, exercise (need more), a somewhat healthy diet (need to keep improving), OPK’s…
  • A special Bee shout out (let’s show the love): All of you! And happy to join with MrsLMA!
  • Next stepts if this months doesn’t work: I’m “trying” to lose weight (I say that every month, but I seem to stick to my normal patterns…
  • Have you tried the Jho PP yet: Modified version. I think our bed is too short for the real thing, but I guess we should try it that way just for kicks!
  • How do you stay sane in this IF insane world: Prayer, exercise, our kitty, appreciating my husband, planning other things, daydreaming about travel, thinking about the benefits of not being pregnant yet and trying to appreciate the things we’re able to do without having kids to worry about.  Hopefully we’ll have many, many years with children and I want to make sure I enjoy this time with just my husband.
