@MRSLMA:  Thank you ladies. We all have been through some tough times ( I guess that’s how we found our way to this thread). I appreciate you.   I’m going to stay super positive. And hope that it is just a slow dropping beta.   My fingers are crossed for you ladies!!

@Wispy:  Wow, I can’t believe what a never ending saga this is turning into for you.  I hope all goes well with your tests and sending some of my “c-word false alarm” luck your way (HUGS).

Got the definite YES! for IVF #2. It’s a long cycle, so my first meds appt isn’t until July 10. So freaking exciting. πŸ™‚

Hi ladies,

Like cafegirl, I’m both happy and sad to be joining this group. I’ve been visiting your group since January, when I first found the TTC boards on weddingbee, but really hoped I’d never have to join! I’ve celebrated (mostly silently) lots of BFPs as people in this group have got, and loved the support you all give each other.

Hubby and I threw away all BC last October, before our November wedding, after I’d been desperate to start trying for over a year already. I had to wait for him to get ready. But it makes this 8 month TTC period feel so much longer coz I’ve been waiting sooo long. I’m really struggling at the moment, because when we first started I imagined we could have a baby by the middle of the year, and now I’m not even pregnant – it’s difficult to come to terms with.

  • Cycle/Day:  Cycle #9 / CD1
  • History/Issues:  No known issues yet, but my cycles are quite irregular (last three months have been 35 days, 28 days, 46 days). I’ve been off BCPs for 21 months, and they’ve been irregular the whole time.
  • Chart?: Just started – about 7 days in… I’ll share when I have something to show! Been using OPKs for three months, and will have to continue, because my O date is so unpredictable.
  • What you need/are trying to find this cycle (besides a BFP, obv):  Some patience and acceptance that this is going to take a while. And, maybe counterintuitively, some answers about what might be slowing us down, and some solutions.
  • How you are going after it/what we can do to help:  I’ve restarted Body Balance (yoga/pilates class) to feel like I’m being proactive, and I need to lose a few kilos to get back into the healthy weight range.
  • A special Bee shout out (let’s show the love): Cafegirl and MRSLMA – glad to see some familiar faces. And Jag – here’s hoping IVF #2 is super successful. And just a big hi to everyone else, who I kinda feel like I know a bit already πŸ™‚
  • Next stepts if this months doesn’t work: Going to see my doctor in the next week to see if I can get a referral, want to work out if something is causing these long cycles (he suggested “a touch of endo” a few months a ago, but not based on much). Going to get hubby’s spermies tested too.
  • Have you tried the Jho PP yet: Nope – maybe that’s the answer!
  • How do you stay sane in this IF insane world: I’m not the one to ask right now!! But my fur baby Charli gives great snuggles πŸ™‚

@hamikay:  Welcome to our little home on the web. It’s nice to have some new faces – as lots of our older friends leave us, we definitely like having the support of new people as well. Hopefully you won’t be here long, fellow Aussie friend! xx

@Mrs. Jaguar:  SO happy to hear this!

@hamikay:  Another familiar face:) Sorry to hear that you’re struggling right now- you know that we’ve all been there, so vent away.

I was out with my Mother-In-Law last night and she is INCREDIBLY in to meditation/spirits/energy, etc.  She came right up to me when we first saw each other, put her hand over my stomach and said “Oh sweetie, I can tell you need some positive energy”  She totally freaks me out that she can read my mind some times- I DO need that energy!  We eneded up talking about pregnancy, and TTC and the whole lot for a couple hours which was nice since I don’t really have anyone that I confide in IRL.  We’re doing candle light yoga together next week to get my “soul alligned with my body” (?) What a nut:)

@hamikay:  Glad to see you here!  Well, like I told MrsLMA, happy to have you here, but sad for the reason why.  It’s good to have some friends in a new group of soon-to-be friends.

@MRSLMA:  It sounds like you have an interesting MIL!  It’s great you were able to talk with her and I’m sure the yoga will do nothing but help.

@Wispy:  I agree with Jag — you take care of you, hon. Don’t worry about us! There’s plenty of support to go around. P.S. I like your new user name!

@Mrs. Jaguar: SO EXCITED for your IVF #2! I’ve always liked evens better than odds anyway. πŸ˜‰

@hamikay:  Sorry about CD1. πŸ™ Welcome! I hope you get some answers soon … or that you get your BFP and answers aren’t needed!

@MRSLMA:  That story about your Mother-In-Law made me giggle. It’s nice that you were able to talk with her and that she’s so supportive of you!

So I think my OPK was positive this morning? I can’t believe I’m getting another surprise O on an off-month. WTF is up with that, body? It’s like “Stimulating meds? Nope, don’t feel like Oing. Doing my own thing? Awesome, let’s get this party going!” *eye roll* Now I just have to wait for a temp jump to confirm …

@Mrs. Jaguar:  That’s so awesome.  Here’s hoping round 2 is meant to be mini Jag.

@hamikay:  Welcome, hope your stay is short and sweet.  I’m just at the same point now as you where if I’d been able to control this thing and it happened on the first couple months (like it seems to for every other person in the world) I would have a baby right this second, and it’s definitely a tough spot.  I came here a little late to the game too, so I love when I get the chance to get to know the new people.

@Wispy: Don’t worry about us at all, and come back when you have the energy for it.

@MRSLMA:  Sounds like a loveable nut πŸ™‚  That’s nice that you have her support though!

@bunny:  How strange.  Hopefully you’re just happy to see an O at all, and maybe that’s a good sign that your body is just doing what it’s supposed to.

@BrianneG:  You must be holding your breath until you know whether or not you will get an answer from your biological dad. I hope everything will turn out the way you want it. I would love to have more duties at work. I’m usually pretty bored – not because of the kind of work I do, just because I don’t have enough.

@redsmarties:  I started taking the miracle seeds (Chia) this month. So far I haven’t noticed anything different if I do I’ll let you know. September doesn’t need to get here quickly I’m not in a rush but I’m happy to have a plan set up in case we need it (which we most likely will).

@Wispy:  Now we know which new name you picked πŸ˜‰ Is there a story behind it you want to share? I just read your update. I’m very sorry that you are once again put in an even more difficult position. I just don’t know what to say anymore. I hope you have familiy and friend around you for support. And as you know, we are here for you at any time. ((hugs))

@Mrs. Jaguar:  YES!!! That is good news! I’m sure you will have some emotional weeks ahead. I hope the good/happy/confident days will outscore the not so good once by miles. Will they put you back on the nasal spray? I’m so going to chear for you and really, really hope this will be it for you!

@MRSLMA:  That sounds very interesting. It’s nice that you have someone close to talk about this stuff. And you have to let us know how how your candle light Yoga went.

@bunny:  Congrats on the positive OPK – I hope your temp follows up with a big nice spike. Maybe your body is so impressed by your weight loss that you get rewarded with a nice O πŸ˜‰ Keep going girl!

@MRSLMA:  It would totally freak me out as well if my Mother-In-Law could read me like that, but at the same time how cool!! I think its great that you two are able to connect like that. I hope the yoga helps!
