@Yellow.Clover:  Not to get your hopes up but I have been following your posts and your chart and I think this month is looking good for you so far.  I keep thinking… it looks great, why does she keep saying she’s out?  You don’t seem out at all to me.  But I understand trying to be conservative with hopes.  When I got my BFP I was all cramps and sore boobs just like regular pms except it started a couple days earlier than it usually does. FX’ed for you.

@SapphireSun:  Oh my–you made me laugh out loud!  I love that about the names!

@hamikay:  I think my guilty confession is the same as yours!  I feel bad, but at the same time I can’t help it.  I have a friend in real life who’s TTC.  She started a few months after me and every month she’s not KU, I breathe a sigh of relief–horrible right?  I will seriously genuinely be happy for her when she does get her BFP, but right now it’s nice to know someone who’s in the same boat.

@Mrs. Lox:  It llooks like we’re the same age!  I’m also 34 and about to turn 35.  I’m glad you’re posting more in here!

@Yellow.Clover:  Wait a sec–what CD are you on?  How many DPO are you?

@funnybunny:  I meant to welcome you back!  I hope you’ll hang out more.  To answer your question, I have been having my husband take a daily multi-vitamin as well as a fish oil and a zinc capsule and am trying to increase our intake of veggies.  We’ll see if they help!

I am curious about fertilaid for men–does anyone have their husbands on fertilaid and, if so, do there seem to be any differences?  There are some great reviews on Amazon, but there’s this one commenter who implies they are fake so I don’t know if the reviews are legit or if the commenter is just a cynic.

I don’t have time to reply to you all at this moment, but I’m loving that there’s more positivity here today!  I’m feeling better and I’m sure it will be a much better day.  With my temp dipping below the coverline this morning, I’m out, but much more resigned to it today.  Gotta run but ttys! xoxoxo

@Mrs. Lox:  Yeah, I always feel super weird about naming my kids after people I know.  My #1 girl name is the same as one of my coworkers, and one of my sisters oldest best friends, and I always think they’re going to be like…. “oh hey, creepy stalker naming your baby after me”.

View original reply
@hamikay:  I’ll be horrible right along with you ๐Ÿ˜›  Sometimes I’m all like “pft, you thought you’d get pregnant on the first try and you don’t even know there’s only limited days a month that it’s even possible??”

View original reply
@Yellow.Clover:  Yeah, same here.  I’m pretty sure DH’s sister is TTC and (I know it’s totally not a competition) whoever has a baby first will be the first grandkid in his immediate family AND great grandkid… and we’ve been trying longer and deserve to get pregnant first (because clearly that logic works sooo well around here).

Loving all the mini-confessions.  It’s nice to talk about something kinda other than the usual.  I mean, there’s only so many earth-shattering things we can reveal about our cervical mucous…

As MrsFarmer said I love the positivity that is going around today! I guess this is what a little vent can do for us ๐Ÿ™‚ To all the new laides: Thank you for not getting angry with us and not taking things personal! It is great to know that we are all in a place where we “just get it”.

@SapphireSun:  You can have as many tantrums as you need to get trough this process. We’ll always here to pick you up! Your name confession cracks me up! Can’t wait for that next name poll to come up. We are all going to know who voted for that ugly and silly name LOL.

@hamikay:  So far OPK’s never failed me. But I guess even those can play some mind games with us. Now I totally understand what ladies with no clear positives are going through. Guess I just received my OPK lesson ๐Ÿ™‚

@Yellow.Clover:  FX for you!!!! Being optimisticaly hopeful is always a good thing. Remember one day it will be THE month, and we just don’t know when this will be. Good luck!

@cafegirl:  My husband just takes a regular MV for men. No experience with Fertilaid.

@MrsFarmer:  Glad to hear that you are doing a bit better. Make sure you treat yourself to something nice!

Confession: Love this idea! Mmhhhh, I’m joining the name club. I’m not sad at all when someone picks a really ugly name – that leaves more pretty names for us ๐Ÿ˜‰ And I don’t feel very sorry if someone gets KU on the first try gets a bit of a crying baby and doesn’t get much sleep. I feel bad for feeling that way but I just want them to realize not to take every thing for granted.

This positivity is a good thing!

My confession is a little different than the name thing and may sound a little bad.  All babies are beautiful, but I kind of laugh a little when someone posts a picture of their new baby on facebook and the child isn’t the cutest one.  I think to myself that my baby will be worth waiting for since it will be cuter than that one.  I think there was a Sinfeld episode like this.  I know this is totally mean and I do feel guilty about thinking like this – but my mantra right now is to do whatever gets me through the day!

@cafegirl:  My husband has been taking FertileAid for a couple months.  He has morphology issues and FertileAid was recommended to us by our Creighton Coach.  He will have an SA in a month or so- we’ll see how his morphology is then.  I think if you know that you hubs may not have the best numbers on his SA that FertileAid might help, but if everything is A-OK with hubs it seems a bit much to put him on the Fertile-Aid.- Just my opinion.

@pretzel:  Thanks for chiming in about Fertilaid.  To my knowledge, everything is OK with my husband, but he hasn’t had a SA done yet.  I’m just trying to boost the spermies that are there, but thank you for saying it might be a bit much at this point.  I’m probably just stressing about all the possibilities and trying to fix problems that may not even be there.  Please do let us know if the Fertilaid helps your husband’s morphology next month!

hi ladies. It is awesome to see everyone back in better spirits today. There is no way I can reply individually to all of you but let me see what I can do…

@cafegirl:  my birthday is mid-september and I will be ever so much closer to 40! ugh. However that could be prime time for me to POAS! So maybe it will be the best birthday present ever!

View original reply
@Yellow.Clover:  Oh fingers are SOOOOOOOOO crossed for you!! You are still super early in the POAS time frame.  Some ladies get bfn’s up until 14-15dpot. You are still WAY in for this cycle!

Thank you for the well wishes today for my saline u/s. Well I DIDN”T GET IT DONE! I am super proud of myself for really speaking up today! I am on the verge of my O day and I’m on rd 3 of clomid. I made sure I scheduled a follicle scan to be done at same time as saline.  The tech was getting me set up for the saline and I mentioned I needed a follicle scan as well (figuring it should totally be before the saline test).

So the tech does follicle scan and I have 1 really lovely sized follicle on the right and some little one’s on the left. She mentions that she sees no fibroids internally.  So the DR comes in (haven’t met before) and is talking about the saline.  I stopped him and explained that I was about to O mostlikely and that I had a good follicle. (which the tech also mentioned).  So i asked alot of questions, told him about clomid, my ectopic, my age, what AF is like, etc.  He said that technically it shouldn’t interfere but given the size of the follicle I have and that my lining is very symmetrical and a descent thickness he decided against the test.  He said I’d have for you to get a bfn and wonder if it was due to the test.  He also said that looking at the follicle scan pics he doesn’t see any blantant fertility issues (he said if the lining was thick in places, thin in others he would be more concerned).  He said if I don’t get pg to immediately call and re-schedule appt.   He left me with this statement “you are going to O w/i 24 hours.  you and your husband need to BD tonight! and every other day for hte next few days” (he didn’t use little abbreviations we do..but it would be way funny if he did)

I”m feeling positive ladies!!! The venting we all did helped I think! Must SEDUCE the hubs!

Moral of the story ladies.. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS speak up and ask questions.  If I hadn’t I would have left there with a big ol’ feeling of regret!

COME ON LADIES WE GOT THIS!!!

@funnybunny:  Hillarious. I remember some celebrity talking about ugly babies (i think maybe barbara walters??) and not wanting to lie and she’d see them and just be like “wow, now isn’t that a baby!!”.

@Wispy:  That’s awesome!  I’m really inspired by your visit today and am so happy they didn’t find fibroids and said everything looks OK.  Light some candles tonight…
