@Yellow.Clover:  Sorry about the BFN, happy to see you are still positive though. Sorry about the frustrations with the doctor.

Happy long weekend ladies, I am going to meet my newest niece for the first time (She was born in July but we live almost 6 hours away) and will be around lots of little ones at a family wedding so lots of cuddle time!

Hi Ladies – Just wanted to say hello.  I’m sorry I’ve been out of touch  for a while…DH and I took a much needed (albeit very short) vacation.  But I’m following along and glad to see that moods have picked up after a bit of a slump.  And I hope everyone has an excellent weekend!   My plan is to try to stay away a bit in September so I can concentrate on work, but I’ve grown quite attached to you guys and invested in your stories so I’m doubtful I’ll be able to stay away fully…maybe I will just do more lurking and less posting!

@Yellow.Clover:  boo for low temp (as you said, not out til AF arrives, though!)

@Wispy:  yay for high temp (and good timing, despite the lack of desire ๐Ÿ™‚ )

@BrianneG:  no Clomid experience whatsoever, but I’m sure I’ve read ladies posting about Oing a certain number of days after their last pill somewhere, which would suggest that yours should be 2 days later than last time??? Oh the advice of the ignorant is so useful, isn’t it, haha ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck!! Sounds like Game Day is perfect timing ๐Ÿ™‚

@lonsk:  aww, happy baby cuddles (my doc has told me in the past that cuddling babies makes you more fertile… bahahaaha – but nice excuse for more cuddles!!)

@nyckitten:  good luck with work – lurk away but let us know how you are going every now and then!

Well my big hopes about having an easier cycle came crashing down this morning with SHOCKING cramps and feeling like vomiting. Ugh! Hubby took care of me though, and I got to stay in bed and read til lunch time – thank goodness it’s a Saturday. So strange that my heaviest flow and cramps have been on CD3 these past couple of cycles…

Beautiful day here – first day of Spring and so sunny. Took the dog for a walk this afternoon and lapped up some Vitamin D ๐Ÿ™‚ Easier to feel happy and positive once the sun is out!!

@Yellow.Clover:  I’m on my 3rd clomid round and I’ve been at 50mg each time. Since I had follicle’s each time they haven’t wanted to up it.  So i’m not sure.

@BrianneG:  lol I love “hit that”!! Good Luck!!!

So i won’t be discouraged but I temped today and it was WAY lower! like 2nd lowest so far this cycle! And yesterday I had a temp rise and Thursday the DR said according to my u/s I should O during the next 24 hrs.  So I refused to accept this temp.  I laid in bed and didn’t move but temped 3 more times.  Each time the temp went up. So I don’t know.  Is BBT the be all end all of ovulation prediction?  I figured the u/s would be more of an indicator.  I will make sure we BD again today to just cover our bases.  Oh this TTC is such a mental game.  I will be positive I will be positive until I get a postive!!

HAPPY WEEKEND LADIES!

So I have sort of a dumb question… I just got my peak (CD18) on the CBEFM, I know the instructions say to BD 24-36 hours after receiving the peak, my AP said to BD only the day after the peak (?) In past cycles we BD on the high, both peak days and try for the 3rd day, obviously that hasn’t worked yet, so if you don’t mind me asking… When exactly do you BD? Should we “hit it” tonight or wait until tomorrow?

@lonsk:  I’m not really sure when you’re supposed to bd.  We just do it eod from day 7 till AF decides to show up since we never know if/when I ovulate. But I’m curious why your AP isn’t also in the ” more is better” camp??

@Wispy:  how is the Oing going?? I saw your post about temps vs scan, but didn’t have anything helpful to add! any answers yet??

@lonsk:  i’m sorry, no experience with the CBEFM, but I’d just be going for an every day approach, or every other day if hubby has sperm issues… like

@SapphireSun:  I’m interested in what your AF’s reasoning is!?

Very quiet around here at the moment!! No exciting news for me (boring old CD6), except that I made an appointment with a Naturopath for next Wednesday, so keen to hear what she suggests. How is everyone else going????

EDIT – ohhhh, i just remembered that it is a long weekend in the US, probably explains the crickets ๐Ÿ™‚

@lonsk:  I’m not sure either.  But I’d follow what sapphiresun suggested and bd every other day. That way you cover your bases. I temp do I’m not sure how Cbefm works.

. I’m having a tough time with following/figuring out O this Cycle. Ff is giving me a different O day than what the dr said according to my u/s.  I just need to know so that I don’t have progesterone too soon. I took it last night. So I think regardless of the discrepancy it was at least 48 hrs after O. I just pray that I didn’t take it too soon bc I guess it can interfere with O or something. Good grief! I may lose my marbles with this whole process.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. The board has been so quiet. I miss everyone.

@Wispy:  FX for you and the progesterone!!! Link your chart when you are able??

I know what you mean about missing everyone! I was looking forward to checking in tonight and there were barely any new messages. Hope everyone is doing well.

@hamikay:  Hi!  Yes, I think it was also Labor Day in Canada this weekend if I remember correctly from last week so that would explain things!  I’m sorry about your painful cycle, but am glad you have such a sweet husband to help you to feel better!  Happy Spring!  I’m just so excited it’s almost fall here!

@Yellow.Clover:  Smile  I think it’s the most beautiful, fun, and cozy season.  I’m SO over the summer and the heat! I’m ready to wrap up in a blanket, wear sweaters, eat apples, and drink chai lattes.  The fall stuff in the stores makes me absolutely giddy!

@hamikay:  hi.. i can never figure out how to post my chart. it doesn’t cooperate. But I’m gonna be confident I’ve time it all right.  How was your weekend?

@Yellow.Clover:  Oh I hate AF! Grr.  But no more, we are getting BFPS!!

I love summer..but I do love fall as well.  I like that it is cooler at night (better for sleeping).  Apple picking, hot cider! and of course cider donuts! Yum Yum!

I love fall too. It was all I could do when I was out shopping last weekend not to buy every cozy sweater in sight.

Question for you ladies that have done multiple rounds of provera. I just did he last of 10 days today and last time it took an additional 10 days for AF to show up. Did you guys find that AF always came a consistent number of days after your last dose?
