just wanted to say that i know I only popped in to this thread for a short time but I just think I’m not in the emotional place to post on the internet a lot. It’s just discouraging. It’s only been 10 months but this is my 12th cycle which I know is nothing for some of you but it’s just hard for me.

so I am going to try to think about TTC less, and that means not coming on the internet to obsess over it!

 I have my HSG scheduled for Sept 24 and then we will wait the 3 cycles after that, to see if the HSG has a positive effect on fertility. After that. . in Dec. . .who knows,I may be back on the 1+year thread. Because of my AMH value, my RE thinks that if not preg by Dec, we should try injectables. whatever happens, I am trying to have faith, I believe God wants me to learn to be patient so maybe that is what I will learn over the next few months ๐Ÿ™‚ Best wishes and lots of baby dust to you all!

@Yellow.Clover:  Thanks!  Hopefully it starts faster this time. Just wanna get the show on the road.  And I got NOTHING for pms symptoms last time I was on provera. It was just like making obsessive trips to the bathroom to Make sure I wasn’t going to have relive my eighth grade white shorts incident.

@SapphireSun:  Oh no regarding the 8th grade incident!  It must be similar to my 6th grade light jeans incident… I remember lying to everyone and telling them I fell on the porch and cut myself (ummm–really?  How would I fall on my crotch?!)  To this day, I wear black or dark clothes when I’m on my period because of that traumatic event.   In fact, today is CD 1 and I’m wearing black pants.

@Yellow.Clover: @sapphiresun, @cafegirl:

 thanks for the support! i appreciate it.

 you all seem like a great group of women.

I hope when/if I come back in a few months than none of you are on this thread anymore! ๐Ÿ™‚ take care.

@cafegirl:  Haha. Good try on the falling on the porch. I just tied a hoodie around my waist and refused to move too much for the rest of the day. But yeah provera periods just seem to attack full force with no warning. So its nice to have a symptomless af visit but makes me very paranoid.

@Yellow.Clover:  Seems like I’m in good company with the light pants/AF mortification.

@SapphireSun:  @Yellow.Clover:  I have an irrational fear of light coloured pants during AF, for precisely this reason. My best friend growing up always seemed to be wearing khakis on period day, and so many times I had to cover for her by lending her a hoodie or jacket. I don’t know if she learned her lesson, but I sure did!

@Yellow.Clover:  ahh, sorry to hear about AF, don’t think she’d arrived last time I ‘saw’ you.

by the way – what does AFM mean?? i’ve been trying to work it out, i even googled it, guessing it’s something like ‘at the moment’?? ohhhhhh – is it ‘as for me’?? just popped into my head… ๐Ÿ™‚

 @cafegirl:  so funny that you are all excited about it getting colder and i’m sooo keen for warmth!! i just hate short days and it being dark by the time i’m getting home from work – love long summer nights! sorry to hear that you’re on CD1, but you kinda took last month off anyway, didn’t you? So all systems go this cycle??? wooo!

 @hellorebecca:  all the very best, please do come back if you need some support and understanding ๐Ÿ™‚

Well ladies, tomorrow is my 35th birthday!  The “scary” age of 35… It seems like such a grown-up age to me.  I remember looking forward to 30 and 30 WAS a great year (I met my now husband that year!), but 35 seems so serious (especially regarding having babies).  Hopefully I’ll look back at myself and say “why was I freaking out about 35?”  But now I know I won’t be pregnant by 35 and, honestly, it takes some of the pressure off.

@hamikay:  That is funny about the seasons.  Remember when it was fall for you and I was jealous and you showed me that photo of the tree in your backyard?  It’s my favorite time of year by far.  If I could afford it, I’d go to Australia every spring so I could have fall twice a year.  But I can relate to those feelings of appreciation when you have those first warm days after winter.  I enjoy not having to worry about wearing socks in the spring and summer!    Oh, and yes, I took the month off so I was totally expecting AF and am now ready to get back into the game!
