@Yellow.Clover: Oh, I hope you O’ed! When will you get results?

First blood draw done. I won’t hear from them today unless there’s a problem, so I guess I’ll find out more at Friday’s bloods/ultrasound of the follies. Fingers crossed!

No news is good news, so I’m guessing we just keep jabbing away. 🙂

Unfortunately, I had a parent (awkwardly) ask me if I was expecting.. I’m like, um, er, no, just huge I’m afraid. It was SO uncomfortable. I know I’m bloated, but shit. Not preggers!

@Mrs. Jaguar:  How awkward! People should know not to ask that question unless it’s REALLY obvious.  Some of us just have a little pooch by nature. Maybe she had some kind of intuition and wasn’t asking based on how you look, but just had a 6th sense.

@Mrs. Jaguar:  Oh that is so rude!!!!!! Stay strong lady!!! Soon you will be!!!

I think going through the Ttc process has made me so much more sensitive and aware of what I say to people.

@Mrs. Jaguar:  I’m SO sorry, hun. Comments like that are never ok, and it just makes it worse when you’re feeling all bloaty and wishing for nothing more than to be pregnant.

Where, o where has tact gone in this day and age?  If more people would stop and think about the consequences of their words and actions, this world would be a much nicer place.

@MrsFarmer:  Looks awesome. Great idea to get that stuff out of the way before kids.

@Mrs. Jaguar:  For real, what is wrong with people. I don’t ask any woman about her pregnancy unless she has told me herself or she’s like 8 months and it’s blatantly obvious… And even then it’s proceed with caution.

@Yellow.Clover:  I wish my husband would actually be willing to talk about our problems. I feel so bottled up. I’ve told my manager because I need to share at work, especially with all the appointments. And my BFF knows but my husband wasn’t happy about that. Our parents just keep asking when we’re going to start having kids and we have to keep our mouths shut. I hate it.

@Mrs. Jaguar:  Whoa, that’s uncomfortable! I naturally have a pouch and I am dreading visiting with family who will be eyeing my belly expectantly.

How about we do a short little intro since we’re still in the beginning pages of this thread?  I’ll start (with a template that I stole from HB and modified slightly!):

Months/Cycles TTC: 14 months/15 cycles

CD/DPO: 5 dpo

Chart (if you would like to share/have one):  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/376ebb

Trying anything different this cycle:  Nothing new supplement-wise.  I’ve cut down on caffeine and alcohol fairly substantially, but I still need that one cup of cofee in the morning to kick-start my day!

DH and I are relying mostly on prayer this time around.  We started a special prayer called a novena that you say everyday for 9 days in petition (asking), followed by 9 days in thanksgiving (even if you aren’t sure that your prayer has been answered yet).  We finished the first part last night so we’ll be starting on the thanksgiving part tonight. 🙂

Favorite dessert:  So hard to choose–I love my sweets!  Right now I’m craving a fruit pizza with a sugar cookie crust and cream cheese filling–ahhhh!!!

Months/Cycles TTC: 7 months/8 cycles

CD/DPO:  CD 12, should be ovulating soon unless I have another long cycle

Chart (if you would like to share/have one):  I haven’t started charting yet

Trying anything different this cycle:  I’m not worrying as much about trying to time things perfectly and am trying to focus more on other things in my life and let go of expectations.  I also have an appointment with a new OB-GYN next week. I mainly just want to start developing a relationship with a new doctor, I’m not looking for anything specific from her right now.  I’m trying (unsuccessfully) to lose some belly fat.

Favorite dessert: Hmmm… generally something with chocolate.  A hot fudge sundae sounds really good to me right now.

@Yellow.Clover:  That’s so exciting about the possibility of a new house!  I do like the picture I saw of your current house (I think you posted it recently on a house thread?).  Your house looks adorable.  I hope everything goes well with selling it and with moving on to a new phase.  It’s fun to have something else to focus on too!
