@cafegirl:  Well, I will admit that my pooch is never little (even on a good day, I carry lots of tummy weight) but it’s certainly not big enough to warrant the ‘You must be heading off work soon!’. I DON’T LOOK FULL TERM LADY.

@Wispy:  Yes, I’ve gained SO much knowledge about how to be helpful/tactful, etc.

@MrsFarmer:  Yah, it’s a constant reminder of yep… not pregnant yet, but HUGE anyway. Thanks!

@SapphireSun:  Agreed. I’d rather say nothing & have them mention it in conversation DIRECTLY to me, before I’ll comment. Just to be safe!

@Mrs. Pretzel:  That’s exactly why I’m avoiding family gatherings at all costs!!!!

@Yellow.Clover:  Oh, living in the mountains sounds like a dream come true. πŸ™‚

Months/Cycles TTC: Since December 2010.

CD/DPO: I forget – IVF is messing with my brain. I’m currently stimming.

Chart (if you would like to share/have one):  When I’m off IVF I chart, but not this cycle!

Trying anything different this cycle:  We are in IVF #2. I go for my big ultrasound and second blood draw tomorrow morning. Feeling ridiculously full and bloated (& have to go to the loo ALL THE TIME) so I’m hoping this means that higher doses of stimming drugs are helping me to make more eggs. Oh PLEASE let me have more eggs than last time!

Favorite dessert: I have SO many favourites! I love lemon meringue pie. I love banana splits with hot chocolate fudge sauce. I love sticky date pudding with caramel/butterscotch. Mmmm. πŸ™‚

Favorite thing about WB: You guys. I never thought I’d stick around after we got married – but coming ‘out’ to the TTC boards about how we’d been trying to have a baby since before the wedding with no luck, well, that was the best thing I could have done. Going through fertility treatments kicks my butt some days, and I couldn’t do it without you all. Thanks for letting me be me, whether I’m in a positive mood, or an ‘I HATE ALL THE WORLD AND THE PREGNANCIES’ kind of mood. I promise I’m not really that hot/cold in real life. (Unless I’m on hormones. Then, you’re all fair game.) xxx

Hey girls!  It feels like a lifetime since I’ve been on the boards!  I’m really trying to work on my diet and fitness so I’m bouncing around the fitness boards a bit so I thought I should check in here too πŸ™‚  It’s good to catch up with where you all are – even if it SUCKS to still be on the TTC boards :/

Lots has happened for us so I’ll just do a little recap for you πŸ™‚

Months/Cycles TTC:  13 cycles…. 11 months

CD/DPO:  14 / 0  (O should be right around the corner)

Trying anything different this cycle: Hmmm well… I had an HSG last month that showed some cause for concern so I, unfortunately, had to have a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy done on July 16th.  I was diagnosed with endometriosis but she was able to burn a lot of it off.  I have a great left tube and a really tightly wound right tube.  I’m on Clomid for 3 more months (I’ll have done 6 cycles with one cycle off in the middle).  Then it’s on to IUI with injectables.  We’re trying EVERYTHING we can for the next 3 months so we’ll see how it goes.  Clomid, green tea, EOD, PP, progesterone cream, eating for implantation, maybe soft cups.  So… we’ll see πŸ™‚

Favorite dessert: OOOH this is tough for me!  Especially since I’m trying to diet/go gluten free.  But I think my favorite is ice cream, so now, Fro yo –  did you all know, some places at least, it’s gluten free!?!?  Luckily my favorite and closest shop is so…. WIN FOR ME! πŸ™‚

Good luck ladies!!  I’m still going to try to stay off the TTC boards… at least for a bit πŸ™‚

@Yellow.Clover: I hope your tour up the mountain went well last night.  Living in the mountains and setting up a new modular house sounds amazing!!

@Mrs. Jaguar:  Keeping you in my prayers!

@SapphireSun:  You can share your recipe with all of us, you know! πŸ˜‰  I’m a sucker for any kind of desserts. πŸ™‚

@Wispy:  6dpo today…not sure when I’ll be testing.  I ordered some internet cheapies (bad, bad, because they always call my name to start testing!!) and they aren’t here yet, so I’m not sure when I’ll be testing.  If my temperatures stay up and look promising, possibly around 10dpo, which puts is Monday.

As you can tell from my chart, I’ve been a TOTAL slacker lately. :S  Although, in my defense, I haven’t counted yard work, which is totally exercise, especially lugging all those rocks around for my pathway! πŸ˜‰

@ecomaha:  Ahhhhh!  I have missed you SO much, lady!!!  I am sorry about the endo and having to have the laparoscopy/hysteroscopy…I really hope everything is spick and span and ready to go for you now!  Fingers crossed (and prayers of course) that this will be just what you needed to get knocked up. πŸ™‚  Lots of love xoxoxoxo

You guys are cranking out the pages, I see.  I am sorry I have been a little MIA in my posting, I have been reading along though!  I have been mostly posting in the IVF/IUI thread because I have been so busy at work that I don’t have time to post in both most days this week.

Months/Cycles TTC: 14/18 – I have shorter cycles.

CD/DPO: CD12 – waiting to trigger.

Chart (if you would like to share/have one):  nope

Trying anything different this cycle:  We are doing IUI w/injectibles.  I currently have one follie that is growing, slowly.  I am a little frustrated at this point with the process.  We have a family vacation planned for a week staring Saturday and I was told in the beginning that we would be fine and everything would be done by the time we left…that doesn’t seem to be the case now.  I realize that I should be happy that there is one growing, and I am, but I just don’t like being told one thing and having another happen.  We know have the fun task of letting our family down. Oh, and they don’t know we are having problems with conceiving.  Good times…

Favorite dessert: I have so many favorites, but if I had to choose one, I would say cheescake.

Favorite thing about WB: Like many PP, all of you.  I found weddingbee when I was planning my wedding.  I thought after that I would be gone, then I found the nesting boards.  I followed along with certain threads and certain journeys and was amazed at the support and the overall understanding.  I finally joined and I am so glad that I did.  It is so comforting to know I have a place to go filled with caring women who completely understand the process, the good, the bad and the ugly!

@ecomaha:  You were missed around here.  I am sorry to hear about the endo, but I truly hope that finding it and clearing it out will being you a BFP really soon! Continued good luck on your journey and don’t be a stranger!!!

I’ve been lurking for a while now but this is my first time posting here.

Months/Cycles TTC: 7 months/8 cycles

CD/DPO:  CD 22/ 11DPO

Chart (if you would like to share/have one):  I keep track of my cycles and when I O, but I do not temp.

Trying anything different this cycle:  Since I am new, I’ll give a little background.  We tried on our own for a few cycles and then saw a fertility specialists during cycle 6.  We have no known issues, except that I have a short cycle.  She has me taking a ton of supplements and then I am on progesterone after I O for 14 days to legnthen my LP.  The progesterone is not fun!  So far, no BFP, but that may have to do with the fact that I O’d really early this month and my husband happened to be out of town.  We missed our window – which I was not happy about!  Hopefully next month works!

Favorite dessert: Ice cream!!!!

Favorite thing about WB: Everyone is so supportive.  I’m starting to get a little discouraged, so it will be nice to have a place where everyone understands what I am going through.  If I hear, “you just need to relax and it will happen” one more time, I will crack!!!

@funnybunny:  Welcome.  I’m totally with you here –> “If I hear, “you just need to relax and it will happen” one more time, I will crack!!!”  The * MOST * annoying * thing * ever to say to someone TTC.

Anyone have funny comebacks to the “just relax, it’ll happen” comments?
