Thank you for starting this Mrs Farmer!  I LOVE the beautiful quote!

Let me just copy and paste what I wrote on the other thread since it was the last thing put on there before the topic was closed:

Well ladies, tomorrow is my 35th birthday!  The “scary” age of 35… It seems like such a grown-up age to me.  I remember looking forward to 30 and 30 WAS a great year (I met my now husband that year!), but 35 seems so serious (especially regarding having babies).  Hopefully I’ll look back at myself and say “why was I freaking out about 35?”  But now I know I won’t be pregnant by 35 and, honestly, it takes some of the pressure off.

@hamikay:  That is funny about the seasons.  Remember when it was fall for you and I was jealous and you showed me that photo of the tree in your backyard?  It’s my favorite time of year by far.  If I could afford it, I’d go to Australia every spring so I could have fall twice a year.  But I can relate to those feelings of appreciation when you have those first warm days after winter.  I enjoy not having to worry about wearing socks in the spring and summer!    Oh, and yes, I took the month off so I was totally expecting AF and am now ready to get back into the game!

@MrsFarmer:  Your quote made me tear up! This is probably the most wonderful text I’ve ever read in this whole TTC process! Thanks for sharing! I’m sorry it took you a little longer to shake off the last cycle. It just seems it’s never goint go get any easier. But if I’m not mistaken hubby and you have some doctor’s appt’s coming up. FX that they will bring you some answers and get you a lot closer to your little one.

@cafegirl:  Seems like this time of the year is popular for birthdays. Enjoy your day tomorrow and treat yourself to something special. 35 is definitely a great age to celebrate.

I hope everyone else is having a good day!

@cafegirl:  I turn 35 next month and it’s messing with my head in a way that 30 never did. (31 was oddly hard for me though. Go figure.) I kind of dug 32 and 33. I ignored 34. And for whatever reason, I’m downright dreading 35. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I feel ya. And you’ll have to remind me that it was absolutely nothing when I get there next month. Easy peasy, right?

Okay, from last thread:

@hamikay: Yes, AFM, is “as for me.”  : )   I seen someone else post using it and it through me for a loop as well.

@cafegirl:  The way I see it, 35’s not that far away from 30, and just think, how great 30 was, I’m sure 35 has got to be even BETTER! πŸ™‚  Glad to hear you’re back in the game!! Woo hoo. I too enjoy not worrying about socks in the spring/summer! I hate not being able to find a pair of socks in the morning, but boy I love the fall. I seen a post on FB today that said, “Hoodies, hot cocoa, boots, jeans, cuddling, crisp air, flushed cheeks. I live for Autumn” I loved it! So can’t wait.

@MrsFarmer:  Loved the quote! So fitting!

Thread 13! Wow. I’m kinda digging it though, because, well 13 is my fav number! I know, I’m weird. Good luck to all! I wish nothing more than for ALL of us to graduate this thread!! This is it girls! : )

Foremost, I want to thank all of those who responded to my last post.  It was your kind words, hugs and prayers that really helped me through a very dark time.  So…THANK YOU ALL!!!  You are such a wonderful group of women, you truly are…I hope that each and every one of you knows that!

It is such a bizarre thing to want something so badly that you have absolutely no control over.  As most of you know, I am older, but have only been married for two years the end of September.  Before meeting my husband, I pretty much had accepted the fact that I was most likely not going to be married and therefore not have children.  I can honestly say that in my 20s and early 30s, I don’t even know if I wanted children.  And I was absolutely fine with that.  It was who I was.  That all changed after I met my husband and not only did I find myself wanting to be married, but I also wanted to have children with this amazing man.  It really sucks to know the chances are so remote of that last part ever happening for us.

Anyway, we are not about to give up on our dream just yet.  We are going to try and do things the old fashioned way for awhile.

I will be moving over to the 1+ TTC board because well, it has been a year +, but I will still pop in here and there to check on all you girls.  For the new members, “HI” – I hope your stay is short and sweet and I hope you get as much out of this group as I have gotten so far!

Good luck to each and everyone of you us!!!

Out of nowhere today, our secretary at work (who does not know we are TTC) asked me “Are you having a baby?” I responded “Nope, I’m just getting fat” she quickly apologized and stated she wasn’t implying anything about my weight but said “I kind of get these feelings sometimes that end up being true, it happens alot. I tried not to say anything but have been thinking about it since I saw you on Tuesday” Crazy, I am obviously not crediting what she said, but I hope she is right!!!! I am 1 or 2 DPO and over analyzing every little cramp or pull in my body, seem to be hyper aware of every little thing.

Part 13 already! Man alive, we’re burning through these threads! My all time favourite number is 14, so I’ll be hoping that I’ve got a BFP before we make it that far!

I’m over on the 1 Year + thread, but I still need to keep up with you ladies!

@lonsk:  Maybe she knows something you don’t?
