@ChuckNorris:  gaaaahhhhhhhhh…. you are a brave lady to be looking up pictures of that torture instrument from hell mere hours before it’s used on you!! I’m sure it will be fine in your master doctor’s hands though ๐Ÿ™‚ Thinking of you!!!

Can see your new pic now – super cool.

Gosh, that guy has super sperm… should get him to help out a few of us bees… hahahaahahaa. Or, not. and 6 weeks is ridiculously early, too. I pulled myself together and posted a ‘congrats’ on their pic, feeling much better now!

Beyond Frustrated!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.Ugh ladies. Last night was a bad night.  I was getting ready for bed and (TMI) when I went to the bathroom there was already “spotting” in my underwear and then when I used the bathroom.  I was sobbing uncontrollably.  (this is unusal for my spotting).  DH was super sweet.   But then nothing since then and my temp is still as high as yesterday, which is way above my coverline.  I don’t know what to do. My progesterone level was high Thursday.  I want to call my Dr but I don’t even know what to say.  I am at my wit’s end.  I’m only CD23!

@hamikay:  I’m sorry. I understand how frustrating/upsetting and down right annoying it is to see others get their BFPs.  It doesn’t have to sound rational or reasonable to anyone else. sigh.

@Wispy:  oh i’m so sorry,  i know how much you want this month to be the month. and i don’t know what to say or advise, except that just maybe this spotting is like the ‘light period’ that some people get when they think that they haven’t missed a period, and then find out they’re preggers months later… i so hope so!!! hang in there, you’re not out yet!!

@cafegirl:  Yes, husband’s best friend and he was the best man at our wedding. We are pretty close, but have kind of fallin apart the last six months. I was basically upset that they chose to have the induction on our anniversary and pretty much expected us to be there. A little selfish on my part, but I think just as selfish on theirs as well.

@Wispy:  I LOVE Redskin home games. I’ve been to a few. They say we have the loudest stadium/fans in the NFL, well when we are at our best. I love being there when everyone starts cheering and yelling the noise and echo it creates is just chilling. I can’t wait!

@hamikay:  Thank you! : )   And dang, I need a round of baby’s to get some cuddling in then – I need some fertile vibes!

View original reply
@ChuckNorris:  Thank you! I’m still debating on the HSG. I really think I have endo so I think I’m going to *try* and demand a lapro first. I’m terrified of the HSG! Not only for the pain but, I’m allergic to shellfish, and they say sometimes if your allergic to shellfish then you may be allergic to iodine and that’s what they inject you with. So I’m going to talk to my doctor after this cycle. But, GOOD LUCK today! Hope everything comes back perfect.

@hamikay:  Aww, sorry about the facebook post! I think I’m going to go through and just block all the young fertile girls! LOL

Well, I did it, I went to the hospital to see our friends and the baby. I did okay. I will say I wasn’t the happiest person to be there and I was pretty short. But. I did it. After that we went to dinner and the 1st thing I did was pull out that drink menu! Shew. A little Sailor Jerry’s delight from Outback did the trick. The rest of the night was very enjoyable. I couldn’t wait to give hubby his gift so I made him open it at dinner. He loved it. I realized this morning; we totally forgot to do the cake thing. Hope that’s not bad luck!

@Yellow.Clover:  I was thinking about you last night and was eager to check in this morning to see how your anniversary went.  Good job on visiting the baby and your friends.  Who knows–maybe having a baby born on your anniversary will be good luck!  I’m so glad your husband liked his gift (how could he not?!) and that you got your drink.  I don’t think it’s bad luck about the cake.  We didn’t have any and, so far, I’m enjoying year 2 of marriage even more than year 1!  Did your husband get you a gift?

@hamikay:  I guess I need to start holding more babies!  I do actually need to go visit a friend of mine who had a baby recently.  I went to see her and the baby in the hospital, but haven’t gone to see her since she brought the baby home.  Sorry about the FB announcement.  On a side note, where did you go for your honeymoon?

View original reply
@ChuckNorris:  Thank you regarding my birthday!  I just sorta skimmed Friday’s stuff yesterday so I missed some of what you wrote.  Are you getting an HCG?

View original reply
@Wispy:  Thinking of you dear!  I’m crossing my fingers it was nothing.  Try and keep being positive!

I’ve come down with a cold–boo!  My husband had one last week and I arrogantly thought I’d escape it.  I wonder if it’ll delay ovulation this month?

@cafegirl:  I like the way you think! I was also feeling a weird connection by taking my last Clomid pill for a while (hopefully forever) on our anniversary. So who knows.. : )  Yes he sure did. We wanted to stay traditional for our gifts, so he got me a nice canvas print of one of our favorite wedding photos. I can not wait to move now so I can hang it. It was sweet. Hope you feel better real soon! Pop some vit C. That’s what I do when I feel like I’m coming down with a cold.

@hamikay:  I know it’s painful (and I’ve been seeing alot of facebook fetuses too) but the way you said it made me LOL so thank you! I would love it if one day, all of us could start a FB page to put a face to the name and see all of our fetuses and watch them grow!

@ChuckNorris:  thinking of you and wishing you all the luck in the world!

Posted on the 1+ year board but will post here too.

Well I am back from my mini vacation and am feeling so full of yummy food I think I need to change my name to Ms. Piggy and I’m in need of a cute avatar! So, I allowed my hopes to get up a bit the last week or so. DH kept insisting he’d “done it”, I know he’s trying to be positive but makes it harder on me sometimes as I’m trying to be “realistic” and not get my hopes up just to be dashed. I managed to symptom spot a 5 month pregnancy! could have been all the food I ate (was at a culinary festival with Food Network chefs) I’ve been having some cramping and a “pulling” feeling in my lower abdomen, super tired and bloated (could be the traveling, time change, need to poop, etc). But today is CD27 and I’m PMSing Frown Left a message with RE office to check on my referal, waiting to hear back from them. I’m so ready to get on with things and find out whats happening and why I’m not getting KU

@hamikay:  I applaud you for saying congrats! That must have been difficult. You having any signs of O any time soon? I stalked your chart, temp sure is nice and low… When do you start OPK’s?

View original reply
@Wispy:  Oh mannnn =( I’m so sorry about the spotting… That’s terrible. Maybe it’s the good kind of spotting?? I hope you’re not out yet… Big hugs to you…

@Yellow.Clover:  You had to see your friend’s baby on your one year anniversary?? Man, that must have been ROUGH! About the iodine thing, you can get some Betadine or Iodine cream from the store and test it out first, and they may have/be able to use an alternative, but it is probably worth it to test first. Best of luck in your decision. How happy was hubby about the tickets?!

@cafegirl:  I’m so sorry about your cold! Rest up, hopefully it won’t mess with your cycle!!! FX! I met with an RE who will do an HSG if no go with Clomid + HCG shot in 2-3 cycles. We are working on proving that I’m not ovulating correctly right now =)

@lonsk:  Thanks for the well wishes!! Good luck with the RE’s office =) Hoping you hear good news from them soon!!!

Okay so…here goes: IT WAS SO EASY! My endometrial biopsy went GREAT. I just breathed really deeply and focused on relaxing all my lady parts and everything went very smoothly. It kind of felt like you had to poop realllllly bad (you know that lower abdomen cramping you get when you know you gotta get to a toilet PRONTO). He basically inserts a plastic, rubbery tube attached to a syringe wayyyy up inside my hooha to reach my endometrium, suctions some stuff out, and sends it to the lab. He then spent an hour (yes, an HOUR, I love him) answering all my questions. Then he, the nuse and I sat around and talked about politics, the election, IUI, IVF and ISCI for like 30 minutes. Best. Doctor. Ever! I found out that he is an OB/GYN and an RE for sure. Now I’m at home for lunch, and will be heading back to work shortly; I feel good, a little crampy, but it feels just like menstrual cramps and I have a heating pad on me which helps. I find out the results end of this week or next week =)

I also showed him my previous CD15 bloodwork which he said further proved I’m not ovulating. Next cycle I have to get CD14 bloodwork drawn and then it’s on to Clomid in November or December. I feel good =)

@ChuckNorris:  First, YAY for the great appointment. You should feel good lady! What an amazing doc you have and I’m so happy to hear the procedure went well! Sounds like your next few months will be very promising! : )

But, yes, I had to go. I was feeling very guilty and that I was a bad person. So, to help clear my conscious, I went. Plus DH was nagging me about it, telling me I was being selfish, blah blah blah. So to save us from fighting on our anniversary, I figured all around, it was best to go. And he was so excited about the tickets! Now just got to wait until next month for us to go! And thank you for the info. I’ve had other tests (I think a CT-Scan) that use the iodine and I was fine. They just gave me some benadryl before hand. I’m just an anxiety prone fool, that’s all. LOL. But I really do feel I have endo, so to save money, I would rather do the lapro first, that’s if she’ll let me.

@ChuckNorris:  oops…I just realized I asked if you were getting an HCG and I meant to say HSG (I think you knew what I meant).  I’m glad you had such a great appointment today!

@lonsk:  Your vacation sounds amazing!  Are you a chef or are culinary festivals open to the public?  I’m hoping you aren’t feeling PMS symptoms but, instead, pregnancy symptoms!

@ChuckNorris:  Thank you. I’m hoping it’s good spotting but I hope that every month. UGH! I’m glad your appt went so well! I think this doctor sounds wonderful! Best of Luck!

I did ask my doctor if I could start seeing a specialist at a fertility clinic.  So i have the # for 2 places. I’m going to research and hopefully I won’t need to call them.

@Yellow.Clover:  I do feel really good, very blessed to have met him when I did… I totally understand your reasoning if hubby wanted you to, to appease him and avoid a fight, especially on such an important day! That would still be really tough, though! Well good luck with either one – whether it be an HSG or lapro. Do you have to pay for this stuff out of pocket?

@cafegirl:  Haha, yes I did =) All these damn abbreviations! How are you feeling? Getting worse?

@cafegirl:  we went here for our honeymoon, and it looked every bit as picture perfect as any of these photos. it was truly breathtaking, every morning!!

@lonsk:  haha, i was hoping I’d make someone LOL – i didn’t just want to be a misery guts about it ๐Ÿ™‚

@ChuckNorris:  well done – i think it was ‘easy’ because you were so amazingly prepared and mentally strong about it all. when do you get results?? and what are they going to do about not Oing – clomid?

I’ll O anywhere between CD18 and CD32, but hoping for an early one – i tend to alternate between long and short (but not reliably), and I’m due for a short one after a 40 day cycle last time. So if it’s CD18 that will be Sunday, and perfect for a weekend of sexin’ ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve put hubby in control of the ‘sex schedule’ this cycle, with the requirement that it’s at least every 2nd day, and I think he’s enjoying the control ๐Ÿ™‚ He didn’t “get it” at all to start off with, but I explained that I was sick of being in charge of everything. Now he’s loving it!! Haha.

Off to my new naturopath tonight, and I’m a bit excited!! A friend of a friend credits her with getting her pregnant after 3-4 years of trying, so fingers crossed!!!

@Wispy:  Aw, I’m happy/sad for you about your referral… I hope you don’t have to research them and it was good spotting and this is your cycle!! How many more cycles of Clomid would you want to do, if it doesn’t work (God forbid!)?
