LOVE THIS!!!

OK I looked at my lab results online and they’re in!

Background:

My cycles average at 25 days.

They began to normalize 4 months after getting off BC and have been: 27 days, 27 days, 24 days, in TWW now.  So GYN averaged it at 25 days.

LP is a little short, she doesnt seem concerned.

She sent me for a Cycle day 20 test.  It turned out to be 7dpo according to my OPK (charting has never worked for me).

Result is 9.5  should I be concerned??? 10 seems to be concensus on progesterone levels without medication.

@septcabride:  Excellent idea.  I know last thread @jag suggested a new way of doing the intros but I’ll copy paste it here (since it’s the middle of the night?? in Aus, I think).

“So ladies, I was thinking… how about doing a different kind of roll call? In an IVF thread I visit on another forum, we have something along the lines of this:

Limbo Land:

XXX
XXX

TTC:

XXX

Clomid:

XXX
XXX

IUI/IVF:

XXX
XXX

TWW/Testing Date:

XXX/May 10th

Graduates:

XXX

Hugs Needed this Month:

XXX”

I’m honestly a little confused about whether we’re supposed to fill in all fields ourselves, or if one person is supposed to make a list with everybody on it… but if somebody else has seen it before and gets it more than I do, they could set it up.

I’m in limbo land. Going to be on clomid. And will take all the hugs I can get!

@lillybug. I had progesterone of 4 w/o clomid. Im no expert but it may be something you want to discuss with your doctor. You may not need clomid. Maybe something else. But I also had shorter cycles initially off bc. I’m now about 26 days bit I O cd11 typically so my LP is long.

Cycle 15 – BRING IT!!!  This process will NOT break me.  I want to thank you all for your support, really, it means the world to me.  I am not sure where we are going to go from here, to be honest, but even if we do decide to step off the roller coaster, I will still be here to cheer every single one of you on!  I am not about to turn my back on such an amazing group of women…no way! {{{GROUP HUGS}}}

So, about this royal jelly…can you take it if you ovulate before day 15???

Ope, didn’t see that we’d started a new thread!

I’m still here, too.

@Wispy:  Once again, I’m so sorry hon. I hope that time brings some healing, but I know it won’t ever be all the way better. Hopefully you get your sticky bean soon!

@redsmarties:  I hope your break relaxes and recharges you both. I’ve been there before and it’s always been a great experience.

I got the go ahead from my doctor to try for an IUI one last time with him before he transfers us to the RE. I start my femara today and have a follicle scan scheduled for next Friday (CD12), with hope that we’ll be doing the IUI by the 23rd.

He also wants me on crinone this cycle, which I hear is super expensive. I’m not sure why, but I always think better safe than sorry. I’m sure Darling Husband won’t be thrilled about it.

I like the positive thread title!

@Lilly – I think with that result they’ll probably want you to take Progesterone (it comes orally, in suppository, and in shots) but it’s not a huge deal…maybe that’s all you need?!

Love the thread name:)  It really would be lovely if this thread dissolved the 6 month club, once and for all:)

@bunny:  Are you sure your insurance doesn’t cover Crinone?  I pay $48 for 15 suppositories through my insurance coverage.  But one time the pharmacy didn’t have my info from my new card, and they rang it up as $228 as the cash price and I like to have died.  That would make 30 days worth almost  $500!  I’m only telling you that so that if you can check with your insurance and see beforehand, maybe your doctor will switch the Rx to a less expensive type of progesterone.  Because I was willing to do anything for TTC, but when she told me $228 for 15 days of Crinone, my jaw hit the ground!

@Wispy:  OK thanks!  I keep debating whether I should call my doctor now, or wait.  I think I will wait for my husband’s SA results before I call her.  Also, I will research foods and supplements to take to raise progesterone in the meantime.  His SA is not until the 23rd but am thinking that it will be OK.  (trying this positive thinking thing right now, ha ha)
