I’m still reading along, and sending many positive vibes your guys’ way.  At the moment, I just feel frustrated, and like I have nothing ttc related to contribute here, so posting seems pretty pointless without turning it into a random chat thread.

@Mrs. Bonnie Blue:  So glad things are coming along for you!

@jaguar:  I can’t get over your adorable puppy.  Hope he’s behaving and still lots of fun for you guys.

@jaguar:  Ahhh, I feel your frustration, I’m so sorry!

My stomach drops everytime I see another announcement, I still have trouble controlling my emotions at the site of my preganat SIL (her 6th!!!).

@SapphireSun:  Whoever made those cheapies must not have had to rely on them or they would have made them much easier to read, so that there were no ways to misinterpret them.
I’m sorry you are frustrated, I feel you, I get so frustrated every time AF rears her ugly head and I think another cycle gone and no results. Treat yourself to something you enjoy, you desreve it!

I decided against buying another pack of OPKs for this cycle. Hoping to catch the right time. I had AP today and she mentioned putting me on another herb when I get my next period, doesn’t she understand that the goal is to get KU and not get another period – GEEESH!

@lonsk:  Thanks. I’m definitely having a bit of a bad time lately.  Luckily I’m counting down the days (5!!) till vacation. So all I have to do is make it through the week, go on vacation and then a two week wait for my gyno appt and she will hopefully have some form of an action plan for me.

@SapphireSun:  It’s totally okay to make this into a random chat thread…I still like sharing life stuff other than TTC with you ladies.  We do have lives other than TTC, right? πŸ˜‰  Your vacay sounds awesome!! Enjoy!

@jaguar:  I was a little cranky last night too when I came home to another FB pg announcement.  I’d have placed bets that it was coming though….(even if it is #4 for them) so it’s not like I didn’t have a premonition to steel myself for it.  But still… Here’s hoping you can use those OPKs and pg tests soon!

@MrsLantern:  I know.  It was so quiet here yesterday that I didn’t even post.  I’m 3 dpo and I’m kind of like your AP…planning what I should do for next cycle.  I had taken a bit more of a relaxed approach last month and again this month, but I’m ready to buckle down and make some changes/try some new things next month.  I had relaxed because if I don’t get pg this cycle, we can definitely travel to Europe for a friends wedding in December without me being 8 months pregnant.

DH and I had a good discussion last night.  I think he’s finally starting to feel like we should think about going to see the doctor and get some testing done.  I mean, we need to find out if there is a problem that needs fixed or if we just need to keep trying.

I’m still waiting for the doctor’s office to get back to me. I haven’t had a positive OPK yet. My last follie scan was a week ago tomorrow. It’s utterly ridiculous that they haven’t responded to me yet. Do you think the doctor even realizes what kind of mindgames he’s been playing on me? I’m not just a chart. This is my freaking life. I’m being shown NO RESPECT.

Hey Ladies. Took some time off from being on here cuz it was making me nuts! Haha. But i am back now- and just doing some back reading to see where everyone else is!

As for me I didnt O last month (at least my temps and OPK’s never indicated an O) but got AF on Friday. SO got my baseline ultrasound and started Clomid. Quick Clomid question- my temps have been HIGH since I started taking it- will they go back down? Or will they stay high?

Hi Girls…

I guess I, too, took a break from the boards without a real plan to do so!  I was not in a good place and really had nothing to contribute.  I was pretty bummed out by the cost of the meds we would need to even get in the game at a measly 8-10% chance.  I was very close to getting off of the TTC roller coaster for good.  I saw no point…  That was until out of the blue a solution was offered to us.  We are forever grateful to this person and things are back on track and it looks like IUI with injectables is in our future after all.  Due to cycle timing and all that crap, it looks like we won’t be able to begin the process until after my next cycle.  I have been battling with the need to take a break..at 41, time is my biggest enemy and I just couldn’t bring myself to “waste” a month…but no we have no choice!  Which brings me some relief…takes the decision off my shoulders.  I mean, we still will try, of course, but I hope not to be as stressed about it.  So here I sit, with AF due today or tomorrow, and I am not dreading it at all.  I feel a small sense of peace.

Thank you to the girls who sent hugs and support  – you know how you are πŸ™‚

@JaneyD:  Thanks for reminding me that numbers were just that, numbers.  I wish I could tattoo that on my forehead some days!

@jaguar:  puppy feet, puppy breath, soft puppy fur especially on the belly…you MUST be in love!  I adore Spencer and have enjoyed looking back at his picture for a pick me up this past week.  Good Luck…  I am sure the distraction it will bring will be wonderful!!!

@MrsFarmer:  Zelda is just so damn cute I can hardly stand it…good luck to you too!!!  Oh and like the new name πŸ˜‰

@MrsLantern:  Sometimes when the AP starts talking about the next cycle I think hmmm…. does she know something I don’t? AP has significantly helped my headaches but that was a secondary reason for trying AP, sometimes I think they focus on headaches when the focus should be on BABY!!!

It seems like a lot of us have been in a bad place lately, hope things start looking up for everyone soon – Hugs to all!

@MrsFarmer:  What kind of puupy is Zues he reminds me a bit of my childhood Collie, who had a bit of Shepherd in him. He looked a bit like Zeus when he was a puppy.

@SapphireSun:  Have a wonderful vaca.  I love NYC.  And I especially love it since my sis moved there full time.  I hoping to KU this summer so I can visit her in Sept:)

@MrsFarmer:  That’s good that he’s willing to test.  I agree its just better to know if there is any medical reason.

@bunny:  I’m frustrated for you.  I know ppl are busy but follow-up is essential.  This is ridiculous.  And does he expect to keep you as a patient after this.  Really….

@gingersnap25:  Congrats!!!  I know how frustrating it can be to be ready and then there’s yet another delay.  I’m soo excited that you get to cycle this month.  We will be cycle buddies since AF should show next week.

I finally did ovulate and my AP wasn’t too concerned but I was freaking out.  Since I’ve been a stress cadet and researching like a crazed professor, I tried to stay away from the internet and live a little this wkend.  DH and I relaxed and actually had a low key holiday w/ lots of BBQ.  Also we had some good BD time that was spontanteous.

@SapphireSun:  Have a great time! If you get to stay for a bit in Seattle and like ice cream, I would recommend stopping by Molly Moon’s! They have neat flavours like salted caramel and honey lavendar…mmm.

@MrsFarmer:  I remember having that discussion not so long ago with DH. I can honestly say that I feel a lot better now knowing what we’re up against. It has made me more patient, and understand that our TTC journey is going to take awhile longer than most people given our condition. We told our doc at the 7 month mark that we want to be referred to an RE, and she ordered a bunch of tests for us (CD3 bloodwork, SA, variocele check, ultrasound) and at the 9 month mark we finally got to meet with the RE. Even though we’re under 35, our doc was very proactive and we’re so thankful for it πŸ™‚

@squeak35:  sounds like you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend πŸ™‚ I’ve been doing my best to stay away from Dr. Google this cycle and it’s done wonders for my mental well being.
