@squeak35:  Actually, it won’t be this cycle that we do IUI, it will be the following one…around July.  Are you doing IVF this cycle coming up???  Congats on finally “o”ing…and more importantly for enjoying yourself this weekend 🙂

Hi ladies,

I’m with so many of you and just didn’t feel like I have something to say or contribute to this thread. Nothing seems to move forward and I’m tired of it. My second nephew was born Friday and as much as I’m happy for my sister/BIL it was just one more reminder what might never happen to us. We’re prob going to take a little break. No more charting, no OPK’s, no acupuncture, no Chinese herbs. Just a break. But I’ll discuss it first with my AP tonight. See what he thinks would be best. Once we feel ready we’ll look into IUI/IVF and try to line everything up for the fall/winter. I’m sure I’ll have lots of questions for you IUI/IVF ladies.

@SapphireSun:  Enjoy your vacation! You deserved it!

@jaguar:  You have been such a strong woman. I think it is totally ok that you’re over it and tired of it all. No need to keep up with a happy face on this thread. We’re all here for you to support you.

@MrsLantern: My AP does the same thing. I ready somewhere that your pulse is a really good indicator to them if you are pregnant or not. Maybe they do know more than we do. But then they should just say so.

@JaneyD:  Thinking of you. Good luck!

@MrsFarmer:  Can I tell you that I’m a tiny bit excited for you. Maybe a little extra time is all your DH needed. Keeping my fingers crossed that the next few months will bring you a huge step closer to your little miracle.

@bunny:  Seriously? I’ve never heard of anything like this. Is there some place you can leave a review/complain or something? This doctor needs to be stopped. I’m very sorry you have to go through this. ((hugs)) Hopefully your RE will show you the respect you deserve.

@cheert16:  No experience on clomid. But my fingers are crossed for you.

@squeak35:  Sounds like you had a great weekend. Isn’t it awesome if we can forget about all the ttc struggles for a couple of hours or even a weekend.

@gingersnap25:  I’m so happy for you!!! Enjoy your little break and get ready for your IUI. So glad to hear that things are moving forward. I’ll be rooting for you.

I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while.  I check in when I can (my schedule has been so busy).

Anyway, my beta was over 50 last week.  I had an u/s  that showed I had some lining left.  So I took meds Wed-Sat (3 pills/day).  It was to help my uterus contract and get rid of the remaining tissue.  Well my bloodwork today shows my beta is now 53!  I am going to a high risk obgyn tomorrow.

I just don’t understand!

@MrsFarmer:  I’m starting to feel like (in real life) I’m the only one who is having this much trouble. I know I’m not; but seriously – I’m so terrified that if even IVF doesn’t work, we’ve got no chance at this.

@bunny:  How far away is the office? If it were me, I would have lost my shit a long time ago – and I would be walking in and DEMANDING another follie check and report. This is completely unprofessional. You’re PAYING them here!!!

@cheert16:  My temps usually get a little higher when I take it, then fall into a usual slightly erratic pattern. But I don’t know how much of that I can blame on Clomid – or if it’s just my wonky cycles at work again.

@gingersnap25:  Spencer is beautiful – lovely puppy breath and he’s proving to be a great distraction for us. I’m happy. 🙂 I’m glad you’ll be heading down the inject/IUI path – even if it’s just to give things a shot. That feeling of when to get off the bandwagon is hard, and it’s been playing on my mind lately too.

@squeak35:  Glad you ovulated and over a holiday weekend? Perfect!

@elchalten:  Anytime you ever need anything, give us a shout. I’m no expert but I’m good at supporting people! *hugs* Thanks for letting me be honest here.

I got an email from an ex-friend (big falling out a few years ago on a USA trip – note for the wise, never travel as a group of three girlfriends) & we haven’t spoken in nearly 4 years. Turns out she found my blog, and has gone through 4 IVF cycles (all failed) herself – so I thought it was lovely that she got in touch with me.

@elchalten:  It is Awesome when your not obsessing about TTC.  I’m really trying to limit my online time after hours since its soo nice outside.  I need to enjoy my convertible all I can:)

Enjoy your break.  Sometimes that’s exactly what we need to emotitonally and mentally.

@Wispy: So Sorry.  This happened to me as well a decade ago.  Hang in there.

@jaguar:  That was totally out of the blue.  I agree that travelling w/ 3 doesn’t work.  Even w/ group trips, it can be too much drama.

@elchalten:  I wonder that as well! For this cycle, my AP says to not come in for treatment around ovulation, but for implantation only (I usually do both). She did explain the reasoning, but it was still a bit fuzzy. I’m seriously so giddy to go in for AP treatment tonight. I never thought I’d be excited to get poked and jabbed by needles!

@elchalten:  I’m sorry. It is so frustrating when our bodies do not cooperate. Are any of those changes (yoga, acupuncture) helping you to feel better? I find that yoga and acupuncture are a huge help in stress relief for me.

@jaguar:  I’m in love with your puppy. We have a dog who is now 5 and I so want another. I think if we don’t get KU this year I may beg DH for another.

I finally ovulated over the weekend. We actually went away for a four day trip to Florida, so it was perfect timing. This is supposed to be my month off between IVF’s but now I’m in the dreaded TWW. I keep thinking how amazing it will be if this month worked. I’m worried I’ll be very upset when it doesn’t

For all of you ladies wondering about OPK, I know the clearblue fertility monitor is expensive, but I think it is very worth it. It takes all of the guessing out. I got mine on ebay for pretty cheap and amazon sells the sticks. That’s just my two cents.

@bradybride:  YAY! You ovulated! Gosh, I hope I can follow in your footsteps before pulling out the Provera to get ready for IVF #2. Praying you won’t NEED to go for #2!!!

I love my CBFM. Except 10 days of highs suck.

With the amount I spent on digital OPKs, I should have invested in the CBFM right from the start. Just checked ebay. Part of me hopes I won’t need it but then reality sets in…

@bunny:  Oh gosh, bunny, I’m so mad at your doctor!!  Why is he treating you that way??!  I’m so sorry you’re going through that.  I hope you can find someone who will treat you like a patient (and a paying one at that!) rather than just a chart.  ((Hugs))

@cheert16:  Hi!  Nice to see you pop in! (I don’t know much about Clomid so I can’t help you there.)

@gingersnap25:  I’m glad you could find some peace in all of this.  And yes, Zelda is puppy amazingness!

@kayakgirl73:  How are you doing?  Hope everything is well with you a baby kayak!  Zelda is a Bernese Mountain dog and Saint Bernard cross (Saint Bernese), which are both Swiss breeds.  I love her markings!

@MrsLantern:  I don’t think either of us were ready for testing before and I’m not sure that we’re quite there yet, but it was really good to have the discussion.  We’ll talk about it again, but I think I will schedule an appointment with our family doctor after this cycle and just get the ball rolling.

@elchalten:  Oh lady, I’m hoping a break will help you recharge.  I know I’ve told you before that my two month break from temping has been the best thing EVER.  If your AP gives you the go-ahead, I would definitely take the opportunity.  ((Hugs))

@Wispy:  Gosh, I don’t know how you are hanging in there so well.  Please take care of yourself….many thoughts and prayers that you can leave limbo land SOON.
