@missmegan11:  You sound so positive!  Kudos to you for having fun with your DH and for freeing yourself from some of your worries.  I’m glad you’ve been able to get to a happy place for a bit.  πŸ™‚

@jaguar: Your anniversary is so soon too!

A friend of mine posted a wise status on facebook regarding deployment  that an older Navy wife shared with her, “Don’t wish away the days. Try to enjoy each day; you can’t them back.  Because before you know it, you’ll have wished awa a good part of your life.”  I know she was speaking about deployment and waiting for her husband to return, but the same lesson really applies to us with TTC.  I’ve thought about that phrase a lot this week and it’s really helped me to be somewhat at peace with our TTC journey and more appreciative of my husband and our time together right now.

Maybe it helps that I’ve been pretty sentimental lately looking at our wedding pictures and picking out a mushy anniversary card for the hubs. πŸ˜‰  I just can’t believe that we’ll have been married a year on Monday. Surprised Best year of my life, hands down (even with all the depressing CD1s thrown in there.Wink)

And yay, it’s Friday!! It’s gorgeously sunny!  Payday for me too, so that makes my day even better. πŸ™‚  What’s making you smile today?

@MrsFarmer:  Honestly, what made me smile was reading “Don’t wish away the days. Try to enjoy each day; you can’t them back.  Because before you know it, you’ll have wished awa a good part of your life.”  Thank you for sharing that…so very true and something I need to remember more often.  Happy 1st AnniversarySmile

@bunny:  That group sounds FANTASTIC. I desperately need to lose some weight – my doctor hinted that it might be getting in the way of our TTC. I have between 30-50 lbs to lose, so we’ll see how it goes. I’m sending a PM your way.

– THANK YOU!!! I love this, must keep reminding myself of this because eventually when a baby finally comes our way we will wish we would have enjoyed our alone time more and appreciated it

@MrsFarmer:  Yes! I know what you mean. Our first anniversary is coming up the week after next and I can’t believe it’s been a year. Coping with all of the TTC stuff has really brought us closer. I love my hubs so much! πŸ™‚

I think we’re going to commemorate our second anniversary with some new sheets. (The 2nd anniversary is cotton, right?) Last year we did concert tickets for the paper anniversary.

Hi ladies,

I really wasn’t looking forward to this, but I know you’ll all help me get through it. I’ve officially transitioned to the 6+ month club. Another TTC board to contribute to…don’t know how I’ll juggle them all. hehe.

Today is CD1 for me, and I hope to test the last week in June.

My hubby had never heard of the traditional anniversary gifts. I am going to have to print off a list & stick them in his card, I think.

Any idea for PAPER gifts? I’m getting him a little something special as well, but it’d be nice to keep traditional. πŸ™‚

@luli29:  Welcome! I’m sorry you have to join us here – but everyone here is amazing & will provide you with lots of support.

As for me, today is CD22. 15 days of ‘high’ on my monitor. All negative OPKs. I *almost* cracked out the Provera today, but something is making me wait a little while longer.

Just checking in to see how all you lovely ladies are doing? Have you had a nice weekend so far? Where’s everyone at in their cycles? I think there’s several ladies taking a month or two off like me – where are you at?

I’m doing well – CD23 and I couldn’t tell you if I’ve ovulated or not. Just started running (Couch to 5K), low-carb diet for my insulin resistance/fibromyalgia, and am working on dealing with my GAD. Trying to decide whether to take a TTC break after this, or just a charting break.

@redsmarties: Hi Im following you ladies here even though I have not posted much. Great to hear you are looking after your health. I had my hcg shot yesterday so most likely Oing today CD15. I had to check with FF to remember my CD lol usually I would know this top of my head! Going to take it easy this tww and focus on exercise and other things and not worry about if/when AF will show up. Totally hear you on charting break I don’t mind taking temps but I have stopped checking into FF a thousand times everyday and driving myself crazy with chart stalking. Are you ttc this cycle or taking a break? I would take a break from charting if your cycles are pretty standard.

I added Royal jelly this cycle seeing others here talking about it but haven’t been regular with it I take if I remember. I am also continuing with AP and chinese herbs.

forgot to add I was on clomid this cycle and we did an IUI at DH insistence. I was not keen on it as timing was early <24 hours and we already had plenty of sexy times right before if you get the drift. But we also had relations afterwards and lots of fun so not a bad weekend at all!
