@lovemygsp: Hey hon.. interesting.. in my case, I’ve only been charting for three months so don’t tihnk I have enough of history to know for sure. Butt that being said; the first month I temped around 8-9 am and the last 2 cycles I temp’ed at 5 am. My 5 am temp has always been lower than that when taken at 8-9 am… However, 5 am is NOT my normal waking time… it’s just the time I pick to make sure I can take it consistently every day (where as my initial 8 am wasn’t consistent bc at times I woke up much earlier).
So yeah, you could be onto something…
But like you said; your temp may not be reliable this month :/ I agree with going with the signs… I get the boobs and break out too… fingers cross for the big O!

@proudcatlady: 🙂 Thanks for the reply! I think I’m just going to go with the flow. If I really am 6dpo, then its highly unlikely I’m pregnant. I don’t have any of the symptoms I did this time last month. Guess I’ll just rid this one out. Lame.

@doxielove: Best of luck for your BFP next week. I’ve officially given up testing early. In fact, I don’t even think I’m going to buy any more opk’s / fertility monitor sticks when I run out. I may even stop temping for a while.
I’m out this month – sucks 🙁

@pink_sherbert: Sorry you’re out this month 🙁 FX for BFP next month.
Btw, I too stopped with teh OPK and BFP tests (well at least until I’m officially late, like 16-17 DPO and no AF). TBH, it mad me feel A LOT better not having the constant stress of testing!
I also am dying to stop temping – if it wasn’t for the short LP issue I’m trying to fix, I’d totally stop temp’ing too (I’m only temp’ing to check how long the LP is to check on progress). It works for a lot of ladies bc it gives them the feeling of control, but for me, it drives me nuts! Just another daily reminder… If everything was ‘normal’ for me now ay I’d still be temp’ing!

@proudcatlady: Thanks for your kind words.
My husband hates that I temp, hence why I’m more inclined to stop. I have a short-ish leutal phase (10-12 days) but I normally spot towards the end of the LP. I tried progesterone cream from 4dpo this month, which stopped the spotting, and kept my temps raised, but didn’t increase LP, or help get BFP. My progesterone test at 5/6dpo actually came back as ‘normal’ last cycle, although doctor says she can’t do any more tests for the ‘abnormal bleeding’ until we’ve been trying for at least a year and are referred to a fertility clinic.
I did manage to get my LP longer by taking vitamin B 100 complex. Too Much Information alert… the pills (Solgar brand) did make my pee neon green, hence I cut down to every other day. Going to try supplementing with vitamin C and lots of fresh fruit and veg this month (as this can naturally raise progesterone levels apparently) and see if that stops the spotting.
Also starting a new job in a couple of weeks (after being unemployed for over three months), which is going to be stressful. I’ve just had to complete a personality questionnaire and aptitude tests, so fingers crossed they don’t take the offer back – skimmed the contract, and the offer and benefit package looks great, and the company’s apparently a really good place to work, so hoping my scores were okay – I know I got at least a few wrong from going too fast (was based on speed and accuracy).

@pink_sherbert: This one year rule is enough to drive us crazy. My case in point; it drove me crazy, so much so that I ACTUALLY wished there WAS something ‘wrong’ with me so I could see someone early – which is A TOTALLY crazy wish. In my case, my progesterone is low (which is why my LP is pretty crazy short 5 days shortest, 8 days longest!). I guess the only plus side is that they finally agreed to let me see a specialist.
But truth is; I’d prefer if I had normal progesterone…
I actually just bought progesterone cream this cycle, just waiting to O to see if it does any magic.
Out of curiosity; what level was your progesterone? The highest mine got to was 24 nmol/L. it could be that in your case, if you don’t have any problems with progesterone levels, that’s whay the cream may not have an impact on your LP….
They say babies, moving, and new job are the most stressful things people go through in their lives. But will totally keep FX the job is exactly what you want bc if you’re doing something you love, then stress is not so much of a problem…
I hate those online tests that are timed! They make me so nervous!!
Sooo hoping all went great! Keep us posted!

You ladies are a lot stronger than I am…I would die if I stopped temping! I would always be wondering what my temps would be doing. I’m OCD like that! Then again, my O dates are very inconsistent, so charting does help me a lot, which is why I haven’t felt the need to stop.
Sorry about AF 🙁
AFM, I had a huge temp drive (to coverline) this morning. I’m 9dpo. I haven’t had any spotting, so I’m skeptical that AF is on the way (even though my LP has been 9-10 days). I’m DYING to take my temperature tomorrow morning – I really hope it jumps up!!!!!!! Every month I tell myself not to symptom spot, but I just can’t help it…

I’ve been taking a break from the Bee, but here I am again. Finding myself on the 6+ board seems strange… it doesn’t seem that long ago that we were just starting this TTC journey and I was asking about coming off the pill symptoms. Yet here I am. This is starting to beat me up a little.
Cycles/months trying: 8 months/7cycles
Current CD/DPO: CD23/3DPO
Chart (if you have one): still haven’t figured out how to get a specific link to my FF chart
Any known issues? I’m overweight, and FF says I’m irregular, but my cycles are like 29, 33, 31, etc. So regularly irregular, I guess. I appear to be ovulating, judging by temp shifts and OPKs. I have diagnosed myself with PCOS based on absolutely nothing – thanks Dr. Google! 🙂
Supplements/medications: Prenatal vitamins
Next steps? We’ve decided September is our going to the doctor to see what’s up time.

@doxielove: FX! I hope your temp goes up tomorrow and todays was just IMPLANTATION DIP!
welcome and I am sorry you had to join this thread. However, you will find that these ladies are just the best support and will understand just about everything that you are going through. GL and I really hope your stay with us is short!

Just stopped by to say I’m thinking of you ladies. I have a feeling we’re going to see some graduates very soon <3

Hello! My husband and I were married 3 years ago and at that time, I posted on WeddingBee all the time. I thought I would re-join now that we have been TTC unsuccessfully for a few months. It seems like everyone is pretty friendly in TTC forums 🙂 My husband is 27 and an engineer and I am 26 and a new professor.
Cycles/months trying: 6
Current CD/DPO: CD 9
Any known issues? None that we know of
Supplements/medications: Prenatal vitamins
Next steps? My husband wants to have fun and not get too wrapped up in TTC. We’re holding off on charting and OPK for now. We basically BD regularly and I keep an eye on CM. If this doesn’t work within the next few months, we’ll start to take more proactive steps. i am personally finding this approach frustrating, but I can understand my husband’s perspective, so I’ll go along with it for a bit longer.

@doxielove: FX implantation dip!
thanks for your wishes. You bring us luck and my short LP inspiration 🙂
sorry you had to join us but like MrsR4ever
said, hope your stay is short – and the ladies are wodnerful! Dr Google has taught me a lot, but also overwhelmed me at times 🙂
Have you noticed how long your LP is to see if it’s the first or second part of your cycle that’s irregular? Sometimes taking a blood test can get our mind at ease or let us know what could be going on…
At other times ignorance is bliss as all this info can drive us nuts!

woot. finally got my OPK lines. tomorrow i shall schedule a progesterone draw for a week from then. if i don’t ovulate this month, i’m going to go crazy.
@doxielove: I really hope this is it for you! EEEE!
Aww thanks dear! Hope pregnancy is treating you well! 🙂
Sorry I can’t remmeber, do you chart? Because a positive OPK might not mean ovulation yet. I get a postive a day or two before I O. If you don’t know exact when you ovulate and go in for a 7dpo draw you could only be say 5dpo and your levels will be low.

@MrsR4ever: Ah, thanks. I definitely need the support of some other ladies who are going through this lovely business.
Interesting point! I never thought to check that. The past LPs over the three months have been 14, 13, with June being 12. Hmmm. I’ve Oed on CD26, CD 20, and CD 17, in the same month order. So my cycles are getting shorter in both areas? What do you think?
