Recently it seems like every wedding I have been to has some huge reception entrance complete with dancing and cheese. I think these are awesome actually, so I am not at all meaning to offend anyone who is planning and entrance like this. I say werd to you and your mad skillz!! Fiance and I are kind of awkward people though, and doing an entrance like that seems like a stretch. We are planning to Rick Roll the reception, but do ya’ll think we have to do the Rick Roll dance with it? Are big reception entrances becoming the expectation?
Here’s the youtube link to the rick roll, incase there is anyone out there who actually doesn’t know what I mean.
@Utopia4us: Haha I like this idea! I think you should dance like it though, but that’s just me! I hope most of your guests will get the reference though… most probably will! I think it’s a funny/cute idea.
I voted other because while I don’t think you HAVE to plan to do one, I do sort of think they are becoming more and more popular… and I certainly love to see them/be a part of them!
Eh they’re fun but not something Fiance or I would pull off! As long as you come in looking happy and upbeat, you can put a little skip in your step without doing a full on choreographed dance and it will be great! Just went to a wedding with no grand entrance and it looked fine!
@EmilyBelle: Haha that’s exactly how I feel! 200 left feet for sure. And Fiance hates dancing! Learning a decent first dance has been difficult enough, but I also don’t want people to think our entrance is lame.
