Hm I really don’t know because we just keep talking about my birthday presents (which is in 3 weeks). I know for Black Friday were going to try and buy a tv LOL and a lot of dvd’s/blu rays and a blu ray player so I have a feeling that’ll be it but I’m happy with that. =)

    Hope you get something awesome!

I’m hoping it’s a ring! February was what we discussed in our timeline, but we have a 5-year anniversary trip planned for December, so I’m crossing my fingers that it will happen then!

Probably something else, we had talked rings about this time before but financially it’ll be more of a valentines thing I think 😉 so probably something else, no idea what!

@gingerkitten:  My sons birthday is December 8th. I always feel bad because were pretty broke after Black Friday lol. My DH birthday is January 5th. I really can’t win.

I have a feeling the ring will come before Christmas (hopefully in 3 weeks when we’re away for my birthday, or next month on our 2 year anniversary) but if not, then I’m definitely hoping to find a jewellery box under the tree.

I’ve been telling my SO for every holiday/birthday/etc that I don’t want anything, just for him to put the money he would spend on a gift away in an “engagement ring/wedding fund.” He recently gave me a timeline for a proposal around this time next year so I am more than happy to sacrifice gift nows for THE gift next year. He understands my logic but always wants to give me things now so that I don’t feel bad not getting anything (how sweet) so I’m sure he’ll find something to give me.

I just posted about this in relationships the other day. Out of no where, SO said we should save the money we would spend on gifts. Then, about face this weekend when he told me he shouldnt have said that. Then yesterday out of nowhere he asks what I want thats under $500. Guess no ring this christmas 🙁

I’d love a ring but… I asked him for erasers since I’m going through them at an insane rate because of school.

My chances of getting erasers 98%.

Chances of getting a ring… 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% Give or take a few zeros after the decimal point.

He’s pretty much guaranteed I will get the ring over the “holidays”. Not sure if that means Thanksgiving, Christmas, or NYE. Fingers crossed for the earliest one!  😉

I have no idea, but hopefully there is sparkly goodness on my finger prior to Christmas! 😉

I think he’s going to do it before the big-box holidays like Xmas, hannukah, etc., but because he is going to order the ring sometime this month, with just a few weeks to go, it’ll probably happen in November, which I predicted since the very beginning. I’d be disappointed of he waited until December. I’m disappointed that he didnt propose over the weekend like he originally wanted.
