@Natinat6:  I have, and I loved it while I was taking it but the classes were super expensive where I am ($30 each, ouch!). I could barely walk after my first class, but after committing to classes 2x per week for 2 months I could really see a huge difference. My legs were sleeker and my muffin top was gone. I haven’t been to a class in a while, but I do the exercises on my own at the gym to keep it up.

How much are classes where you are if you don’t mind?

I went to one class (it wasn’t official Bar Method, some offshoot) and, while I loved the class itself, the instructor really picked on me so I never went back. Fiance and I are moving to a house later this month that has hardwood and floor to ceiling mirrors in one of the living rooms. I’m planning on turning it into my own little studio and getting a wall mountable barre doing the DVDs at home. It’ll be much less expensive and make it easier for me to find the time to do it as well.

FI’s first career was as a professional ballet dancer and has agreed to teach me a bit as well (I used to Irish Step Dance competitively and I’d love to learn some ballet) so it’ll be dual purpose.
