FYI – I believe Philadelphia county has a 8% sales tax and 10% tax, on the liquor portion; the surrounding counties have 6%. Delaware has no sales tax. My sister was married in DE and hired almost all vendors from DE and saved thousands.

We are getting married at Front & Palmer…I can’t speak about the actual event yet (our wedding is July 5) but the experience so far has been amazing. I believe the total cost for food, rentals, venue, etc. will be about $20K (including tax). There are some other industrial venues in Philly…I know someone who got married at PowerPoint and loved it. Morris Arboretum or Tyler Arboretum might be a little less than F&P, but I’m not sure.
